  1. Really fun to watch this one come together, so thanks for the very informative build thread. I can appreciate just how much time it adds to a build just to photograph the steps and post it all as you go, heck I barely get time to build; much less document! I said early on that this was ambitious, as the '57 body style is not an easy one to improve upon, and plenty of custom builders would pass on such a project. This build shows that it ain't easy, but it ain't impossible! The results are pretty darn nice, and it would be cool to see this one done for real. My only change would be a custom paint job that is as bold a step as the body work, but that is purely a personal preferential thing. Beautiful model!

Period perfect, especially dig the gauge setup.
  3. Nice job; it just screams "Muscle Car"!
  4. You never cease to amaze me. Your builds are very inspirational. Well done!
  5. Very nice! Love the contrast between the high gloss blue body and the satin/flat tones of the wheels and tires.
  6. Looks like you have a very specific plan, and that's good on a complex build like this. Really liking your interior mods; the console is just cool.
  7. Don't forget a sizable oil stain underneath, remember it took 2 full quarts of 40 weight oil just to get'er to the Conoco station!
  8. That's pretty, and MEAN looking at the same time! Very cool build.
  9. Very nice body work there; great job smoothing the custom piece to the stock body. I really like your concept on this one. That grille opening/lower pan reminds me SO much of a '58-60 Thunderbird. ( A good thing, squarebirds are cool! )
  10. Coming together beautifully; paint color is particularly handsome on the big body bow tie.
  11. This does so much just right! Beautiful, realistic appearance. Well done!
  12. Loving the progress on this! Makes me want to get back on mine, but I still have a couple of projects moved ahead of it ...
  13. What's not to love about a black '57 with red/black interior?! Nice save.
  14. Going to show us some of those battleships?
  15. So, you're not as good as I thought?!? Seriously, they are a very nice touch.
  16. Very nice! Excellent foil details, especially the Impala scripts. That Tamiya metallic red is such a nice color for the big Chevies.
  17. Very nice that it's held up this long! Looking good...
  18. I spy a Reliant "roll bar" there. Seriously, very cool, sleek design! Looks like they based off an Excelsior saucer, I'm thinking you inverted a TOS saucer? Looking cool either way.
  19. Very sharp. A nice, clean build of a real beauty.
  20. Fun build, cool concept, and I LOVE that red. Well done.
  21. The color really works nicely, and makes for a sharp 'stang. Well done!
  22. Interesting project. What is that roof from... Riviera?
