  1. Just mark and cut with a small hacksaw, just be sure to support the sheet well as near the edge of your workbench as possible and cut slowly.
  2. Oh yeah, this will be fun...
  3. The Monogram/Revell 1/24 '65 'vette is my go-to for a nice 1/24 BBC engine (396), and is pretty common, and available in stock or street machine dressing.
  4. Looking good, will be watching for this one "Under Glass"!
  5. Gorgeous!
  6. Looking good; anxious to see more! I really like this body style.

    Show Rod

I love just how well that 58 rear works here. Cool stuff!
  8. Interesting approach, and appears to be working nicely! I'm working on one of these as well, but opted to remove the side trim completely and modify my bumpers to more closely resemble the cheaper body styles. Can't wait to see your results! Following along...
  9. Sharp Elky! Well done.
  10. This kit gets beat up on a lot, but as you've shown, it can build quite nice. Good job!

    T - Touring

    NICE! Very cool rod.
  12. I was loving this build based on your color choice alone (which is gorgeous on a '57) but your attention to detail and clean build really put it over the fence! VERY well done.
  13. A long while back I did one as a low-buck home-brew kind of racer, I think this body just hot rods beautifully. If you want to take a look:
  14. Very cool look! Well done.
  15. Those are real beauties! I especially like the blue and white one. Well done.
  16. Will be following this one, and I know you'll do it justice!. That's a crisp looking body, and should really make for a smooth replica. These '63s are near and dear to me because my first real, drive-able car was a '63, though a Biscayne.
  17. That just has a wicked vibe! Well done.
  18. Very nicely done! Love the green you used here, and your overall clean building style really makes for a nice display. Funky kits like this are good reminders to have fun with model cars!
  19. 8 year old thread guys, and Harry passed away a few years back. He did build some high quality models while here for sure.
  20. Nice! Love me some Vickies.
  21. If you had described the color to me before I saw the car, I would have thought "no way", but dang if it ain't one of those cases where something just unexpectedly "works"! Well done.
  22. Very pretty little traditional hot rod; especially love that shade of red!
  23. Nice! You don't see many of the coupes built, which is a shame, because they can look THIS good. A very well done job that sits just right and has a high degree of realism.
  24. Definitive Hot Rod. Gorgeous!
  25. Very clean build, different subject, and great decal work! Well done.
