You could do a search for Arizona attractions. If you drive down Grande Avenue. You will drive by or stop at Mel's Diner. It has the big coffee cup out front that looks like coffee is spilling out of it. http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/restaurants/mels-diner-in-phoenix-serves-surprisingly-excellent-food-7376891

https://verdecanyonrr.com https://www.nps.gov/moca/index.htm The wifey and I and some friends did this. We bought the upgrade tickets and got served food. Also the Phoenix Zoo is good. You can pet the giraffes there on the feeding deck.

The Model Car Garage status...
Greg Wann replied to aurfalien's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
This is very good news indeed. We do need him in our hobby. These sets are a wonderful item for a scale model project. They can truly make your model build POP! It's not much fun when you drop one. -
It sure makes me smile. Nice job.

Harry Pristovnik's models
Greg Wann replied to Amy P's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I agree with Bugatti. I would contact them. I would like one of something he built myself, it would need to be an automotive subject. One of our club members passed away. His highly detailed but unfinished cobra projects were donated to the museum. We all miss your Father, Amy. A respected and talented man. He also had a lot of building supplies. What will become of those items? I had sent him a good sized roll of very fine screen. Sadly to me I recall kidding to him it would be a lifetime supply. So...If you find it, be careful it will poke you good. Greg -
REALLY AWESOME WORK!!

COOL! Since we bought this somewhat extravagant two acre property with a big house and decent sized shop on the back edge we feel like the Beverly Hillbillies. The street we live on is known here as millionaire row. My wife and I still both work jobs. She's the one making the big money. She is in charge of federal stuff for a small school district way over by Dale Mickley now.

TM Resins - contact information?
Greg Wann replied to impcon's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
You could print your contact information on a piece of paper. Contact him through Ebay with a photo of your info and see if it will go through. Ebay is pretty sneaky though. Ebay makes so much money I don't know why they make it impossible to exchange info with buyers and sellers. -
TM Resins - contact information?

He used to have a website. His name is Jeff Watlinger. Uncertain of the spelling of his last name though. -
I am hosting the build session at my house next Saturday. Are you coming?

Nice. Now you need to work on that grain of wheat light bulb.

Howdy from too far south Arizona.
Greg Wann replied to Little Timmy's topic in Welcome! Introduce Yourself
Welcome, Tim. I live in Sun City. Lots of great things to do here in this retirement community. -
It is very sad that people don't want to make things much anymore. They want instant gratification and boring video games. I moved to Sun City, AZ. If you could move here you would never get bored. I joined the woodworking shop. It is approximately 6000SF of tools and fun. Next door is the metal working shop. They have a brand new plasma cutter. A room with several lathes. Lots of sheetmetal working equipment. 80 colors of powder coat and 8 colors of transparent powder coat. A decent size bake oven for it. The list of stuff to do goes on and on. http://suncityaz.org/recreation/clubs/

There is still a factory or two that makes vacuum tubes for electronics. What will power the big equipment it takes to build the roads and do farming? -
WOW!

Really awesome work.

Very nice, I like it a lot! It would make a great resin casting project.

<a href="http://imgbox.com/EmLYdeof" target="_blank"><img src="https://thumbs.imgbox.com/b7/fd/EmLYdeof_t.jpg" alt="image host"/></a> I have a mold that makes this body. I think it is from an original kit, I cannot remember the year either. Rocky might have the rest of the parts. I can't remember for certain.

Molotov liquid chrome pens

https://www.molotow.com/magazine/molotowtm-product-sessions-37-molotow-empty-marker-system/ I found out tonight you can purchase these empty and fill with your own colors. I wanted one so I could try to make white edible ink and apply it. -

Greg Wann replied to DEL's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
IT'S OK, Dwayne. Don't get too worked up over this detail. I would like to do the lenses in their appropriate tints using a clear resin. I just don't think you will get rejected for your years of agony and sweat on your mastering work. With a little surgery it's a detail we can handle here. Well......Rocky, Harold or Mike will get volunteered for this. -

I just found a listing for a Maisto 1:24 scale Bugatti Chiron on the Bay. It looks mostly like a Veyron. Thought you might be interested.

Great Job, Dwayne, looking forward to getting it going. I can only hope you did not glue the headlights in for good. I need to cast those as separate parts in clear resin.
