  1. Looks like this website is taking pre-order for $21. https://fusionscalehobbies.com/ It looks great sprayed on from what I have seen, here is a short Youtube.. IF it is durable, I am in.
  2. I really dig what you have done with this one. Nice model
  3. Wow, this looks very similar, but MUCH less expensive, than the Mirror Chrome that I have heard so much about. Theirs is only 15ml (below) is $40. What I am mostly curious about, is how much handling a piece can take after having been painted with the AK, so hopefully you can keep us updated on your experience.
  4. I just finished this one up very early yesterday morning(OK, really late Friday night, like 1:30am) I was inspired by a cool looking hot wheel with similar paint scheme. Built to replicate what someone would build up in their garage, not a modern day pro-touring or anything like that. Swapped out the kit inline 6 for the V8 from the AMT '68 Olds Cutlas with some other mods. If interested, here is a link to the Fotki page that will have a few build up pics. https://public.fotki.com/machman/in_progress_model_cars/60-chevy-pickup/#media
  5. Had a fantastic time yesterday, so happy the event is back live again. Thanks to Danno and the team for putting together such a great event, and the new venue it great!
  6. Sharp looking model. BTW, is the above wax silicone based? I know a lot of models try to keep silicone polishes out of their work area, but use it outside of their work area if it does.
  7. Great looking project, and creative solutions. Looking forward to seeing the progress on this one.
  8. You should head over a bit early, the Desert Scale Classic model contest is this weekend. ?
  9. tasteful rendition, very nicely executed
  10. Super job!
  11. Very nicely done. There may be individuals that brought some over, but they were never offered here by Toyota.
  12. Ready to follow, I have never seen one of these dine up really nice. Looking forward to yours
  13. Very Sharp!
  14. Maybe this is what the airplane industry is referring to when they talk about "airframes".
  15. The older I get, the more I understand why my grandmother felt loss when people of her generation passed.
  16. Cool! Looks great on those wheels.
  17. Very nice, aggressive looking.
  18. Not easy to share I am sure. My condolences.
  19. Nice, don't see these built too often.
  20. it was actually not Andy (the hobby shop owner) that posted those videos you are referring to. Andy's is a very well stocked, very well run model shop. I would certainly go there more often, but it is over 70 miles one way for me.
