In the past when trim lines are faint and would disappear with any painting, I would cut a defining outline of where the moldings are and use that as a guide when it was time to foil or paint the trim you want.

The Falcon looks salvageable. The T-Bird front end maybe what's left of a parts car, was there an old and maybe closed body shop in the area.

Having fought this battle recently myself and have lost 40 + pounds this last year going from 3X to a very comfortable fitting 2X. Diet has played a very large part since I'm a cookie and sweets hound. I tend to eat more breads than I should but do enjoy dipping bread in Olive Oil with fresh baked Garlic added. Learned to stop with the Ice Cream every night and have gone to just two meals a day with better foods and salads. In the last year we have been going to a freebie exercise class for Seniors at the local Library. Also joined a Snap Fitness Gym in our area. They have discounts for what is known as Silver Slippers for those of us of an advanced age. Great array of equipment and free weights to play with. 30 minutes on a life cycle bike will get your heart started in the morning and will also take the pounds off nicely. Can't tell you how much better I feal now, especially when I look at my pictures from last year's birthday to now.

Welcome back to modeling David. In the time you have been away the amount of detail on the most modern kits has improved dramatically and as you have mentioned you're finding some fiddly parts in your most resent build. I would agree with the suggestion of maybe building a couple of the Craftsmen style kits to get a pleasant building experience without having to deal with a lot of extra parts and details. You can always try something a little more challenging when you feel like it.

Been hotter than hades for far too long and in dire need of some rain. Last night we had rain and thunder and lightning along with at least 2 to 3 inches of rain. The talking heads on TV think we'll be in the mid - 70s tonight and I have already wiped off the patio furniture for these evening's festivities.

Saw something similar yesterday while shopping at Home Depot. I have used the item that you would soak in water and wring out before putting it over your head and around your neck to keep your head and neck coo while working outside in the heat. Now they are offering much the same thing but as a short or long sleeve shirt. Might be something to look at, didn't notice any unpleasant odors.
