    '65 Galaxie

Great looking paint color and chrome trim. The contrasting interior looks good. Like the wheels and stance.
  2. Great looking summertime cruiser. Like the color combination and the wheels.
  3. Picked up the two Moebius '65 Nova Chevy II kits yesterday. Both the Resto Mod and the SS version have an unmentioned GMC Blower option on a chrome tree. There is a nice set of Chevy Rally wheels in the Resto kit along with a cowl induction style hood. Both kits have the same basic V-8 engine as the '64-year model kits along with a choice of transmissions. Both kits are every bit as nice as the '64's are.
  4. Like the 330 Dodge, but I think it would have to be a number's matching and heavily documented true Hemi car to be worth what they're asking. I also know that those who desire such cars are willing to pay stupid money for them.
  5. Had a similar experience and our new home was only two years old at the time. We had been using the mentioned wipes for years at our previous home with no issues, so we saw no reason to change when we moved here. In our case the wipes were hanging up on the back flow restrictor valve in the line per the plumber who cleared it for us.
  6. Great looking paint color and finish.
  7. Beautiful paint and interior finishes. That shade of green was very popular on the Mustang at the time.
  8. Beautiful paint finish and color. The clean looking interior and color is a good contrast with the body color.

    1/24 Audi R8

Great looking paint color and finish. Like the cleanly detailed body and trim.
  10. Beautiful looking paint colors and finish complement the body kit. Like the wheel treatment.
  11. The story on the white steering wheels that I was told had to do with the early Chrysler and Dodge units without air conditioning. The white steering wheels would attract less heat from the sunlight especially on the desert units. Ever try driving a car without air in 100+ degree weather? You would be amazed how hot a steering wheel can get with the glare of the sun thru the windshield.
  12. Must be a little slow for male Racoons in the wild then.
  13. You do not want to mess with a Racoon. That cat is in grave danger and doesn't know it, yet.
  14. Like the realistic looking finishes. Brave man carrying a freshly caught Shark over his shoulder. I have seen a few Sharks laying on the dock that have been out of the water for some time, they're still trying to bite something or someone.
  15. Great build style and cleanly trimmed. The engine and chassis are nicely detailed. Remember when it was common to have the exhaust stacks on pickups. You had to be real carful reaching for anything in the bed and not burn your arm.
  16. Like them all. Big fan of sedan deliveries and would love to own one, maybe someday.
  17. Beautiful smooth paint finish and color. Like the wide body kit panels.
  18. Glad some fellow modelers could save these from the landfill. Shame that the materials used at the time are not as durable as what we enjoy today.
  19. Great looking diorama.
  20. Converting the chassis to a single rear axle seems more realistic than the kit's dual axel setup. Like the tire rack/observation platform setup. Matching Camaro looks good. All the pretty people add to the look as well.
  21. Beautiful paint finish and color. Great job recreating the body of the 1:1 RX7.
  22. The paint color compliments the Buick's body lines. Like the wheel and tire combination.
  23. Having lived for many years in California and having seen a few CHP cars up close and personal I don't recall any other interior color than the basic brown and beige shades, but that doesn't mean there weren't any other colors. I worked at a few Chevrolet dealerships that were involved in suppling vehicles for the state of California and a couple of different departments at different times. They could come up with some pretty strange requests for colors and equipment and even a few that defied logic. But it was our tax money at work and what they wanted is what they got.
  24. When a fleet order for a few hundred cars comes in I think you could get almost any color you wanted for the interior.
