I think JoHan offered a '59 Plymouth hardtop way back when. This is something to look for anyway.

Great looking suspension work. Like the paint. -
Nice looking build. I'm interested in how the paint you're using turns out. I also bought some a while ago but haven't had a shoutable model for it and not sure how it will look, so I'll be looking in on this.

The paint looks great, not sure you would need to use any clear to improve that finish. I like how you detailed the chassis. Amazing how much better it looks with the attention you gave it.

Another source of information would be Hot Rod Magazine online. They had a print issue a couple of months ago that gave a good timeline on all the different engines and other changes made thru the years. -
Thanks Rusty. The windows are all from the kit. I like to dip them in Future Floor Wax as it acts like a clear and doesn't seem to get scratched with age.

Beautiful looking build. This and the Bel Air sedan parts are interchangeable, and you can make just about anything you can imagine. Your pictures look like someone could walk up and drive this away.

Beautiful looking finishes inside and out. Like the wire wheels.

Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Great looking foil work. I like the overall showroom look.

This is an old AMT reissue model from ERTL. This has been in the stach for a while. The tube grill is from the kit, and I removed most of the emblems of the body. The paint used was Tamiya Wood Deck Tan for the main part of the body and some old Testers Gold for the roof and tops of the fins. Used a combination of the two colors for the interior and flocking on the floor. The engine is wired and plumbed with battery cables and heater hoses as well. The suspension has been lowered. The wheels have the kits stock centers painted and I cut the outers off of the custom wheels in the kit to have a chrome outer and a little wider wheel. The hood clearance issue has been corrected.

This is a Revell '68 Firebird 400 Ram Air 2'n1 kit. I have started it as pretty much a stock Ram Air and opened the hood intakes and the cowl vent. Tried lowering the front just a little but the tire diameter doesn't allow for much. I don't usually do a lot of kit decals, but this has some nice small detail and trim decals, so I used those. I wanted to see hoe the HO decal would look on the side and painted the rear tail panel a flat black to tie in with it. Hope to get the foil work done in the next couple of days so I can put this in the show this weekend.

We visited the Kansas City World War 1 Museum. They also had the traveling Vietnam Wall exhibit there as well.

Very realistic looking weathering. The bottom edge of the body and bed look like most of the work trucks around here. -
Great paint finish and color. Decals this size can be an issue no matter who they're from. The rear window louvers and tail panel all look just like the 1:1.
-
Great looking paint work and cleanly detailed trim. With the mirrors and driver's position this looks like a home market car. When I first saw one of these 1:1 cars around 1974 I first thought it was a Mustang.

Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Like the engine and chassis detailing, and the clear panels underneath.

Beautiful looking finishes. I was given a ride in one of these around 1960 or 1961 I was amazed at the time that we had to wait for the air suspension to compensate my getting into the car before we could drive off. This was the first time I came to know anything about a car with air suspension. The ride on the rough HI way was very smooth.

Great looking Baby Bird. The paint color looks like so many from that era and has a nice finish. Nice detailing on the engine and chassis.
-
Great looking Camaro and I really like the color.
-
Great clean looking build. The engine detailing looks good, and I like the air duct to thew engine cooling fan, good idea.
-
I also like the look. The side window shape reminds me of the Willys 3 window.

I like the lowered look myself and really enjoy this and the '57 Ford coupe as well. One bit of a heads up on the front inner wheel well when lowering this kit. The inner wheel well doesn't give you much clearance for the front tires when you lower these. The wagon kit has a slighhtly better design than what Revell had in the coupe, but you may still have to do a little reshaping in the area to the rear of the front tire.

The mention of men in particular not washing their hands after using the facilities. Public men's heads are all I know about personally, but my wife has told me that she hasn't noticed this being a problem in the women's side. Beyond employees it is amazing to me the number of men I have noticed just walking out without even rinsing their hands let alone involving a little soup. Think about this the next time you meet or great another man in public. Did he or didn't he ?
