  1. After reading the label I guess I have been lucky so far and have had no problems.
  2. I wouldn't beat your self up over the yellow frame. While I might not have done that thinking in advance, looking at the frame and the engine colors together I kind of like the contrast between the body color and the chassis. I think if you get to many colors going on it becomes jarring to the eye. The more I look at this it really looks planed and goes together well.
  3. Thank you for the insight.
  4. I was out and about today and noticed that the price of gas had dropped almost ten cents a gallon from last week. I filled up last week at Costco and they are usually ten to fifteen cents a gallon cheaper than the usual Oils Company stations. Today the Quicktrip, which is sort of the price leader in our area, is priced at what I paid at Costco last week. I hope this is a good sign of things to come.
  5. Whatever the original reasons for Daylight Savings and Standard time were think no longer exist. Maybe just split the difference between them and call it good.
  6. I'll be able to build a model of my '18 Charger with just a little paint and rear spoiler reshaping.
  7. Great smooth looking paint finish.
  8. The red lettering should stand out the best against the bright silver color. The body sure looks nice and smooth. One taillight that comes to mind is the '49,'50 Ford from AMT. The part comes chromed, and you would have to paint some clear red is all. They are sort of oblong shaped with a chrome molding and a flat mating surface to the body. I would sand the back side of the housing, so it sits closer to the body. A lot of guys used to run the '49 Pontiac round lights on 1:1's. There are many other possibilities depending on what you have in your parts boxes.
  9. Not that you want to, but you might want to start interviewing Realtors. Should they get the go ahead your land and home will be all but worthless and you aren't going to want to live there anymore anyway.. Sad to say the least.
  10. Great looking build. I like the realistic finishes and the story behind this.
  11. The color is exceptionally bold on this GM model. The paint is well done, and the black trim goes well with it. I like the FI Small Block Chevy engine.
  12. Looks great and the traditional MB color scheme.
  13. Beautiful looking build. The kits detailing looks good and your assembly shows it well.
  14. Great color combination and the paint finish looks nice and smooth. I think anytime you're trying to apply decales that cover this much of a model's body you will have issues. I would have to paint the accent colors. The stance looks correct for the BM Cars.
  15. I like the finish, like a well worn vehicle. The touches like the reversed rear wheels. Just add a pair of Baggies hanging out the back to dry on your way home.
  16. I agree with everyone else on the body color. This color shows the body line well. Nice clean trim, and the interior looks so right with the red dash and rear package trey.
  17. Great looking color and smooth finish. I like the cleaner look without the stripes, but it's what you like that counts.
  18. Great looking finishes, maybe the third time is the charm on this build.

Beautiful looking paint job and the stripes have nice clean edges.
  20. Great kit to work with and your gold base coat would look good with just clear. Candy red or green maybe?
  21. Nice custom body color and I like the way you did your interior colors. Clean looking foil job.
  22. One thought would be to burnish the tape a little in the panel lines. I have used a wooden toothpick to do this, and it seemed to work for me. I would still use a dab of clear.
  23. A lot of era correct looking Kustom body work. I like the clear top.
  24. Great looking stance and color. The Gangster Wide Whites look good on this.
  25. Great looking recreation of your wife's Monte Carlo. The colors and the vinyl roof look perfect. The chrome foil looks great and I like how you got the wide lower body trim.
