  1. Great looking body. Hard to believe this is the same body you started with. You really should consider casting some copies of this.
  2. The last picture makes me sad to see. The '56 Chevrolet 210 has the same two tone paint that my family's car had in '56.
  3. I would go with Casey's advice. Kits with different colored plastic can be a real problem to block the plastics color from bleeding thru. I used the Silver base color before even primer on a Red Corvette and it worked for me. Maybe, and I haven't tried it myself, but maybe something along the order of an automotive type primer may work.
  4. That's even more impressive then.
  5. Beautiful looking pickup. I like how you listed everything that went into this build as there is so much done it would be easy to miss some of it.
  6. Beautiful looking paint and the two tone paint also looks good with the clean body lines.
  7. I like the radical body work. Was this the Chrysler show car kit ?

Great looking showroom stock build. Lots of engine details as well.
  9. I like the color you went with on this. I remember now when you started this a couple of years ago. I went back and looked at all that you had done with the restoration of this glue bomb and I don't know how I missed your work in the mean time.
  10. This will look good no matter what color you go with. I like the stance and the larger rear tires.
  11. Great looking two tone paint job.
  12. Some masterful looking body work on this promo restoration.
  13. This looks great. I like seeing how this kit looks being built as a stock original car.
  14. Beautiful looking paint job. Very clean looking build.
  15. Looking at some of these truck accidents you just know that driver had to have died.
  16. Thus the term "Lunch Pale" I'll bet this man could tell you what hard work was like.
  17. Sort of unusual architecture for a Tract House. This looks like the mid to late '60's new build. There was at one time a prefab kit type house with the general shape of the main part of this house. A friend of mine used two of these kits with a small upstairs walk way between them for a house he had built. The second structure was used as a garage and the upstairs was his artist studio.
  18. I think that sanding the tread is a very good place to start. I have learned to "flat spot" the tires from Steven Guthmiller in my most resent builds. The biggest difference for me has been to spray a light coat of flat clear on the sidewalls. This has a couple of advantages as well as a couple of drawbacks. First it will give the sidewalls a more realistic sheen and if you have used any lettering decals or if they are pad printed this will usually protect their appearance. The drawbacks have to do with mounting the tire to the wheels. Should you have to bend the tire much during the mounting prosses you can and will crack the smooth finish on the tire if you're not careful.
  19. Great looking Buick. I like the way you used different colors to accent engine and under hood details.
  20. Great looking paint and body trim. The color reminds me of Ford's Phoenician Yellow OEM color. I like how you detailed your engine wiring and the air box hoses.
  21. Very sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers to you and your wife and your family.
  22. I just saw the Sun !!! The talking head in TV last night said that we'll be seeing 60's next week.
  23. I like all the extra work you put into the Hull. That's the one thing that always bothered me about this kit as it made it look like a Tug Boat in my opinion. Your paint work and the theme, name, looks great on this. The Trailer is very nicely detailed as well. I built one a few years ago and used an after market kit with a Jacuzzi pump to make it a Jet Boat.
  24. I like your color combination and the extra details you added make it a standout looking Broncho.
  25. Great looking paint and decals. I like the Gasser theme.
