  1. Another great looking build. I like seeing unusual cars from other parts of the world.
  2. Beautiful looking build. Great paint work and I like the detailing of the engine and chassis.
  3. Sorry to hear of your misfortune on this build. I have the coupe version that I plan to build soon so I'll pay close attention to the front end fitment. I do like how your paint work turned out.
  4. Something about the front bumper doesn't look right now that you mention it.
  5. They had a bit on the news last night here in KC about that. I love the T-Shirts with the Cow on a Surf Board.
  6. I think the big green car behind the fence is a Lincoln. I like the black '57 Coupe De Ville. A lot of great looking cars.
  7. This looks and with that engine seems far more interesting than the Mustang California Specials from the '60's era. My question, is this a nationally available option now and not the regional option it once was ?
  8. The California Specials were mostly spoilers and side scoops and a side stripe like the Shelby models of the time. I think the base engine was a 289 2 bbl.
  9. I remember a similar trailer in the old AMT Buick Special Wagon. AMT included many of the Drag Parts you mentioned.
  10. The roof on this kit always looked like it would make a good hardtop Nova.
  11. I guess you'll know for sure when the royalty checks start rolling in.
  12. The bodies look like they are better proportioned than some of the new castings from other companies. The old U-Haul trailer would be nice to have again.
  13. Great looking paint finish and I like the color. The painted bumpers look good with this build style.
  14. Beautiful looking builds. Very cleanly built and well detailed. I never knew the story behind these marketing packages until I moved to this area 20 years ago. Sort of like the "California Special" Mustangs from that era but for the Kansas Market area.
  15. That's a great idea for your three piece hood.
  16. Sounds interesting, just wish I wouldn't get the Error 404 when trying to see the pictures.
  17. Thank you for the info. The roof is just so unusual that I was just fixating on it I guess.
  18. Oooh Nooo !!

Beautiful looking build. I enjoyed watching all that went into this. I like the Aero Wing, but without it this would look like a Plymouth prototype from that era. The tailgate area flows together perfectly.
  20. Is it possible to modify the radiator at this point or notch the inner body to allow the hood to move into place ? I'd also verify that the components are mounted correctly. Sometimes we take things apart and reassemble again during construction and focusing on one assembly lose track of another, or it could just be me. Paint is lookin great.
  21. This whole roof thing has me scratching my head. While I'm looking forward to what all you are doing with this, the roof just keeps me going. I now think the windshield may be the rear window from the base Catalina kit and the rear window still looks like a '60's Challenger. Again great looking work here.
  22. I would mock up the cab and floor and set it on the frame and then you would know for sure how well it would work. Depending on the thickness of the fender parts this may lower the cab enough to change the alignment with the radiator and or the bed. Should this be a problem just insert a small shim of plastic under the floor to replicate the fender units space.
  23. Great pictures on your second post, same garbly goop on the first.
  24. Very nice clean looking build. Where did you get the lettering or did you make those yourself ?
  25. This is a very cool build. The detailing and the body modifications are outstanding. I looked in on your build often and all your hard work sure paid off. This looks almost as real as a real vehicle.
