Looks great. I like the paint and the color combination with the wheels and the body. If I owned a 1:1 Sedan Delivery it would look much like this, I like this style.

Good to hear that they are receptive to some new subjects, and maybe expand on some of what we already have. Pure speculation, but you have to wonder if a '57 Ranchero or Currier Delivery is possible. There is always a chance that they could do the same with the tri-five Chevys. The Pontiac and Oldsmobile's have been under served from the mid '50's thru the '60's. Just my hopes and dreams but I'm sure others have their own wish lists.

That whole front end looks like it has been rearranged a little. Besides the left front fender being a little bent, look at the driver's head light. The front bumper looks like it has been pushed back some and the grill area is cockeyed also. The mean streets of New York I guess.

I share your pain. The trees here are dropping pollen in what can sometimes look like a cloud. I have to go to an Allergist once a week for shots plus take Antihistamines daily. My only relief is a hard freeze or a swim in the Pacific Ocean as the salt water seems to clear my senses.

In the picture your Bel Air looks great. I know what you are saying about Gold and most any color with a lot of metallic in them. There is so much metallic that it's hard to keep it in suspension when you're spraying. I have had somewhat better luck with several very light coats as the thicker coats of paint tend to have the metallic particles tend to clump up or form a pattern in the paint.

Your rebuild looks great. These were not considered the best Plymouth design at the time, but this model looks very nice.

I like the Gulf livery paint job. The attention to the engine detail is amazing. I remember seeing an amateur sports club race years ago and one of these 7's was leading the way. The driver would come out of a turn on the infield with one front tire in the air on almost every turn.

Testors offeres a clear Canopy glue and that my be a good option. I have been using a clear glue for my windshield installations from Gallery Glass that I got at a JoAnn's Fabrics.

The color of most , and most being the key word, Chevrolet v-8's in '67 was a little redder than the photo. That time frame seems to be when Chevrolet was transforming the shade of red used on their engines. My personal '67 El Camino purchased new had a 396 engine and the color was somewhat darker than your photo of what looks like a nicely restored engine. BY the '68 year model run the engines started to get a little brighter and just a touch more Orange to the color. The finish also transitioned from an almost flat finish to not quite a semi gloss finish not as shinny as the photo. This is based on the vehicles I have owned and it is possible that others had a different experience with theirs. The Big Block engines, 396, 402, 427, were built in the same engine plant and should in theory be all the same color. Most people would never call you on your engine if you wanted to paint it to match the photo. I think it all depends on if you're going for a 100 % showroom stock or a day two type build. I would only suggest you maybe knock down the shine a little when painting a rough iron casting like an engine.

Great looking "Street GT40". The paint color and finish is perfect. What color and brand is that Red ? Lots of great details thru out and I like the Gurney Bump on the Roof.
