I have never been able to due a distributer like you have done. Yours look perfect.
  2. I like your 1:1 Tempest Wagon. I went the other way on the Revell '66 Chevelle wagon and changed it to a two door. As you pointed out the door lines are hard to get correct. The '65 Chevelle wagon should provide a good base for the seat patterns, but they are different.
  3. Very creative build idea. I'll have to remember the O ring/tire idea also.
  4. As you pointed out there is a question as too some of the accuracy of the drive train and the interior, body, and most everything. But it can be a fun kit and remember this tooling was done over 50 years ago. So for the time this was about as good as it got. Just enjoy the build.
  5. I still have a thermos I bought over 30 years ago that looks exactly like the one you created. I have to say these thing are almost indestructible.
  6. Amazing details on the thermos and the cooler.
  7. I have had this kit for several years and have put off starting it for some unknown reason. I will enjoy watching your build and hopefully gain some additional knowledge about it through your build.
  8. What a great find, and then to find out it's your old bike. That is just priceless.
  9. Turned out very nice especially considering what you had to start with. The tires also look good.
  10. Very nice aggressive looking Impala.
  11. Beautiful looking build. You should include an attachment so people who didn't follow your build can see how much you changed the basic kit around.
  12. Great to see the young lad learning from the master. I like the mud splatter, seems appropriate for the time of year.
  13. This glue bomb reminds me of something out of the '60's with the jacked up stance. Looks fairly complete and I'm sure you're going to strip the paint. The slicks you have look good but unless you intend to open up the quarters for tire clearance you might want to start planning a narrowed rear end and some inside wheel well work for them to fit.
  14. So did you hire new custodians ?
  15. All very interesting, but you might want to look at what China is doing today and how it will influence what you're going to be driving tomorrow.
  16. Thank you for sharing. A lot of beautiful looking builds, and I always like the paint work on the Low Riders, such intricate designs.

I'm not familiar with the subject but I sure like the way this looks. Very clean looking with good interior and engine detailing.
  18. Looks perfect. I helped a coworker in the '60's fix up his '53 and I painted it for him in the same shade of blue. Most of them had painted bumpers just like this and most of the time the grill was the same color. I think the "Custom Cab" trim may have included the chrome grill.
  19. You can see where the caster combined the two different hoods. It would have taken a little time on the casters part to better finish this underside before they made the mold. At this point you could still do that with some carful sanding. Other than that the hood looks good.
  20. I really like the way this is going. GM should have done that way back when.
  21. I like the shifter detailing. An idea on the steering wheel hole details. I have used different diameter drills and opened the hole and it should not effect the chrome trim you have on it now.
  22. Just drive it up and over the trunk, no problem.
  23. Very clean looking build. Looks as if it just drove off the showroom floor.
  24. Beautiful looking Nomad. My father had the same color combination on his '56 Chevrolet, I whish it was a Nomad but it wasn't. In addition to the great paint work all of the trim is done very cleanly.
  25. Looks great. Always liked the base model 1:1 cars setup to race.
