  1. Beautiful looking truck. Very clean and convincing looking. I think haveinf the two Bikes in different colors adds to the realism.
  2. Great looking "Bird". It would seem that you have the foiling down. In the picture of the engine shows a close up of the bottom of the Windshield and the Wipers. These can be some of the harder spots to get right and you did. I like the little details with the under hood decals and the mufflers. These touches add a lot to the overall appearance of a model.
  3. That's funny. The Vega wagon was the first thing that came to mind when the Kammbach theory was mentioned.
  4. This makes one wonder the whys and what fore's of this car in the first place. I think some Coach Works built this as it does not look like a back yard build. I wonder who had this built in the first place and for what use. I think it's a shame that it was not better cared for in the past.
  5. They are all beautifully built and each represent a dufferent unique build styles.

Your color choice gives the build an elegant look. I like how you used the correct engine/valve cover colors. The chrome trim is very neat and the whole build looks very cleanly built. These cars just weren't appreciated at the time they came out.
  7. These are all very handsome looking cars each in their own way. As always the fit and finish is perfect. Thank you for sharing.
  8. The longer I look at your build all of the little details start to unfold. Beside the great Patina finish everything looks like a Tractor that has seen some real hard service. I like the Grass/Hay inside the fenders.
  9. I like your idea with the Fender Flares but it looks like you may have to go even wider. Your inspiration photo looks like it would also make an interesting build at some future date.
  10. That's a lot of paint work and it looks great.
  11. I do not intend to waste my money.
  12. I have used a product called Gallery Glass that I got at Michael's. This was suggested by someone on the Forum and has worked well. For Headlights I still prefer just good old Future as it will usually flow behind the Lens and show the detailing in the Headlight bucket.
  13. Great looking Wreaker, especially the Boom.
  14. The reason I thought the body style was unusual was that it was a two door hardtop, and they usually used four door body styles regardless of model line. Not always, but normally Chevrolet would color the engine displacement in red for the 427 and black for the 396. Either would be a good Pursuit vehicle.
  15. I like how they have cast the correct rear Window opening and the top material between the bottom of the rear Window and the body.
  16. Great looking build. You detailed the trim perfectly. I remember seeing R/T's in this shade of Gold at that time.
  17. Beautiful, and thank you for the Flash Back I got from looking at this. I followed your build and really liked how you did the interior. The Hub Caps and the red plastic Fuel Lines really put it in the proper time line.
  18. Beautiful looking build. I have always liked the Formula Hood better than The Trans Am Hoods. I didn't notice the Stripes in your photos.
  19. After 22 years you haven't missed a beat when it comes to building. Great fit and finish thru out. The afore mentioned Tach would be mounted too the left of the Dash, and it looks like that's what you did here, and easier to read than the '66 models that were mounted to the right of the Steering Colum and low on the Dash. The Floor Console would contain a Clock, with a Bench Seat they would mount a small Clock on the top center of the Dash.
  20. Turned out great. AMT was trying to get as many features as they could at that time in their models. Those doors will give you fits. Foiling a '58 Impala is a big challenge but I think you did a great job here. Look forward to your next build.
  21. I tried your suggestion of squinting, found that it worked best if I just closed my eyes altogether.
  22. Just think of all the YouTube videos that will be up next week.
  23. That's one way to get ride of a perfectly good Camper Shell.
  24. Unusual to see an Impala Hardtop as a Service Car and it looks as if it has the extra cost Lighting Group also. Note the white lens on the leading edge of the front fenders. This was an extra cost option, but may have been part of some Police Car Option were they could mount additional flashing lights. Thank you for sharing the photo.
  25. Your paint job looks great. Which trunk lid are you going to use?
