  6. Pizza and garlic knots at Westgate in Glendale , Az .
  7. Got these nothing special HW Cobras for something to customize between other projects .
  8. Did this as a mild custom . One reason was because the windshield frame was a mess . No way to save it . So... I cut it off which meant I had to cut down the windshield . I used a Scale Repo magneto . Tires were also a bit out of shape but I made them work . The body needed a lot of clean up . Lots of mold lines . Paint is Tamiya Pure Orange with a Tamiya Pearl White stripe with black decals as a border . I did not realize that the white would have been so miss colored by the orange . I should have used some white primer before spraying the Pearl White . Lesson learned. All in all not a bad kit . Mostly happy with results . Thanks for looking .
  9. I built one and I am planning to buy another.

  13. I managed to get the body mated to the chassis on the AMT 1/16 T-Bird I am working on. I also was able to get some paint on my Monogram Shelby Cobra.
  14. Just started on this one . Will not have an engine because I want to use that for a different project . Painted Testors Blazing Black with Tamiya gold stripe . Not yet clear coated.
  15. Made some progress on the bird . Not much more to do . Will probably finish it up this weekend .

  20. Looks good ! I built a version of this kit. It's a tough one.
  21. OK, I hate to admit this but this morning I made what I think is the dumbest thing I ever did while working on a model. I was working on the doors of the AMT 1/16 T Bird I am building. At the same time I have The Magnificent Seven (1960) on the tv. I somehow managed to put the left side interior panel on the right side door. Same error on the other side. Then when I went to install them into the body I noticed the door handle was in the wrong place. DOH ! How did I do that ? Funny thing is they fit pretty good the wrong way. To make matters worse when I was fixing my screw up I managed to get some glue on the door. Out of that color paint, polishing did not help much . So I will live with it I guess. Message to self.... don't watch a good old western while building a model.
  22. Those are all cool and great planes. I would build planes but the do take up a bit of space.
