  1. that 'Bird was a nice design in the 90's and still looks good today.
  2. Your changes improved the styling , but that "C" pillar looks heavy still.
  3. Nice 1 Phil. With models like that SPAM could even challenge Moebius ! LOL
  4. Great builds Tim. I built the Hawaiian quite a few years ago and I still enjoy looking at it in the display cabinet . I still have the Chi-town Hustler to build .
  5. I love your work Alan. I own a real LX hatch back and this is just the inspiration I need to make a replica. Now if I can just find a citation kit !
  6. Very nice build. ?
  7. Love the color and the theme with the decals. Nice build .
  8. Very nice build.
  9. Great build, they are a cool looking car even stock. Great setting also. Nice job mate.
  10. Nice job on the chassis detail paint. It's a winner !
  11. That's a sharp looking Riv.
  12. Great color choice, nice build. The workshop looks cool too.
  13. It's funny you mention that Trevor, when you look at the box art it looks like the concussion bar is supporting the drivers head as the slicks bite !
  14. Thanks Craig, It was actually your "black tuxedo" little deuce that gave me the idea to rebuild the S of Ford. Perhaps Atlantis now have the molds, a re-release of the original "little deuce" would be great.
  15. I originally built this model in my early teens, about 1972. Recently I dug it out and decided to rebuild it as it would have been out of the box. Amazingly I found some of the missing parts in my parts stash, i.e. roll bar, moon tank and a new windscreen frame to replace the original which had faded chrome. The headlight bar and lights are from the recent Revell '32 coupe as the original was gone. Far from being a glue bomb it came apart easily as my dad taught me to apply the glue sparingly with a toothpick, no need to paint strip the body as it was moulded in dark orange so that's how I left it back then. With a good detail sanding and a coat of Tamiya orange and paint and detail that Pontiac engine and 60's interior I think it looks how I imagined it would have when I first built it if only I had the skills back then. I'm still looking for the original square taillights but otherwise I'm calling it done. I hope you all enjoy the trip back to the 70's. P.S. IMHO this is still one of the most accurate 1/24-1/25 scale deuce roaster bodies.
  16. O.M.G. I would buy several of these and the same era Buicks if they were available again. Doesn't hurt to dream !
  17. Nice pun. I just finished re-building my "son of Ford "model I originally built in the 70's. I always loved this kit , the body is very accurate.
  18. That's a very tough looking Lambo !
  19. Well after 10 years, you certainly haven't lost your skills. Fantastic job Craig.
  20. Nice one Steve, I just finished restoring "Son of Ford" I built way back in the 70's.I still love the kit and a very accurate body. The box art pic you've posted mentions Injected "boss 32" mustang engine , it's actually a Pontiac mill !
  21. Very sharp. Is that a Schneider cams decal on the rear window ?
  22. Great build, I love that blue !
  23. Hi Alan' I live in NSW which obviously is on the other side of Australia from you, I subscribe to 3 different American magazines Including MCM and have not received any issues since October 2021. I have no clue as to what's going on and have only received a reply from "Modern rodding" who have agreed to resend my missing issues. Here's hoping these problems get resolved soon, as the whole situation with USPS seems ridiculous ! cheers Lou.
  24. Thanks for the heads up, I finally received my coupe kit yesterday and after reading your post i checked the parts and sure enough it has the small block tree with the oil pan valve covers etc. No nailhead parts. What a disappointment after a long wait. Oh well I hope Revell are willing to send me the replacement tree to Australia.
