  1. Same here, my 3rd trip in 3 weeks. they had a boatload of the crown vic police cars and all kinds of military and sci-fi kits ( no interest in any of them) I did pick up 2 of the Petty Talladega kits just for grins ,,,might make decent parts kit. ( these haven't been there the past 2 weeks ,,,so stock is being added as time goes by )
  2. A super clean - unpainted builder MPC 1968 Coronet RT convertible Sure wish I could find a 68 hardtop kit to go with it
  3. I like this one a lot. must feel good to be near the end
  4. Street rods have certainly come a long way since I was a kid.
  5. I have a Kenz and Leslie cougar funnycar on my desk , and the SOHC valve covers with a cougar on them is in it ,,chances are they're in all the AMT cougar AA/FC kits
  6. The more I hear about the sedan the more I think I'll wait till the Butch Leal version comes out. I have a Satellite and the body as straight as an arrow
  7. I'll be dang,,,,,There is a car in the picture,,,,
  8. Its the Jack Chrisman - aka Sachs and Son car. The car was pretty radically altered back in its day
  9. Well done,,,Very well done .
  10. The Cady sheet was for the 63 -64 dodge.

    56 Chrysler 300

    VERY nice looking car.
  18. Thats fine,,,,if you want to build a 1966 GTO. If you want to build a 67 GTO, the MPC kit is all there is . I have a few put back for a rainy day. But , as mentioned don't condemn an entire brand on one kit.
  19. Update the current 1967 GTX into a 1966 Satellite ,,still baffles my mind why this hasn't been done either via Revell or the aftermarket The current 1968 Dart to a 1970 - 72 Dart ( probably not cost effective considering all the mods required to do this one ) 1971 Cuda off the current 70 Cuda kit 1958 Ford off the current 1957 kit ( preferably a sunliner ) I like the 1969 Trans am idea
  20. I use pretty much these exact same bin boxes. Picked them up at Home Depot. I had bought one from Harbor Freight and it kept breaking the handles off the drawers,,so it went in the trash can and I went back to the ones from Home Depot. Also, the back wall of my work bench is 2.5 ft tall and 6 ft long pegboard with those moveable metal pegs and I have all kinds of little baggies , trinkets and even a few bare model bodies hanging off the pegs. Makes it super easy to find things at a glance. I also use it for hanging exhaust systems that are to long to fit in the bin boxes.
  21. Very cool . I haven't been following along as close as I should. Looks like I need to change that I never knew this existed in real life. I really really like this build
  22. I remember there was a big hullabalue quite some time in the past about the Cady decal sheet being the wrong color. Now I'm not so sure they were/are wrong. A couple days ago ,,,, I snagged a picture off the net and the door lettering is most definitely a different color than the accent stripe color Will post it later this afternoon
  23. Fixed it for you. I've already told my LHS, I want the 1st case in the door . I'm going to skip the currently avail Belvedere and just wait for this one
  24. Favorite kit and or subject matter. Hands down the MPC 1972 Vega funnycars,,,especially the Pat Foster driven Barry Setzer car. I built one of these many years ago when they were new. I had to build another one when I bought a clean builtup ( have since bought 3 or 4 more ) Plus I have a mint in the box unbuilt ,,that will stay that way.
  25. If there is one in the pro street coronet. I may have an extra one if someone needs it
