WOW .......it wouldn't take much imagination to think this is the actual car.
Hopefully this thing will be done about the same time I make thew cross country move to Arizona and be able to see it in person.
Thats an understatement.
To you guys that go this far in detail is beyond words to me and my hats off to you all.
I simply no longer have the time or patience to do something like this. So I'll just live vicariously thru each of your builds.
I do mine before ANY paint or primer goes on. Trim as close to the emblem as a I can using my lighted magnifier and a new Xacto blade in my cutter
BUT, i use a rattle can almost exclusively so that may be a factor
Ive used Steves method several times with EXCELLANT results
And I'll assure you a GOOD lighted magnifier is an absolute must to do it ( at least it is for me )
Agreed,
I would love to do something similar . Only in a vintage convertible / muscle car or something. I would have to be something with 4 wheels. My back/kidneys / knees etc etc would never take weeks on end on just 2 wheels anymore
I see the model is a Fury 3.
Im not 100% positive but I don't think the 426 wedge was avail in anything but a Sport Fury. if thats the case. it would be all engine color anyway ,,,maybe .
