  1. a 1966 and 1967 B-body cars were all 14" Even the Hemi cars would be a 7.75-14 , either black wall -----or 1967s redline - 1966 were blueline
  2. Truer words were never spoken. We have one that REFUSES to drink from the water bowl. He MUST have the faucet on from time to time in the 1st floor bathroom. When he is thirsty, he will stand by the door and cry something fierce till its on . Yep he might be a touch spoiled. That said though, We have 4 cats ( and 2 dogs ) Fortunately none have ever jumped up on the bench( at least not that I know of ) ALTHOUGH,,,,,,,,,once something hits the floor ,,,all bets are off where it disappears to , how quickly and by whom.
  3. Thanks , that's what I figured ,,,just not what I was hoping to hear . I have a project in mind and cant decide 100% on the power train I want to use. But I may still pick one up just for the tires and wheels .
  4. Casey, any pictures of more info on the contents of this woody ? Especially the engine and or induction system , on a small block ford ? Looks like it has an Inglese ( spell ck ) and it it does. I need pick one of these up for parts alone
  5. AMT version of the Dodge Daytona MPC 1970 Charger - Built as a replica of a good friends car MPC 1968 Charger built as the Dick Landy SS car And Revell 1968 Charger RT. Built as a replica of a friends car ( I also built the 1/1 )
  6. Like mentioned the 66-68 Big Pontiac annuals can be a little tough to find and expensive when you do. ( I just bought a decent 1967 Bonneville conv builder and paid just over $100 for it. With a cracked but easily fixed windshield frame. ,,,not for sale ) That said ,,, and for your intended purpose. A re- builder would obviously be the best route. And with the mods your intending. A less than mint body would be ideal. And considerably cheaper and easier to find . Do Like I do and set up search parameters on ebay to be notified when something is listed . Thats how Ive found the vast majority of my old annuals stash over the past few years. As far as the GTO, Yes its a completely different body style and size. But less expensive to come up with
  7. Ive been wanting to get back to the bench . This inspired me Today I Pulled a 1970 Coronet body and parts out, prepped them and painted them the same Go Mango lacquer. I painted a 1970 Cuda body with it a couple weeks ago and all I had to do was rub it out , with no clear and it looks killer . ( I'll paint maybe 2 more bodies for winter projects )
  8. Very nice. My favorite mopar body style ( Ive owned 3 of them )
  9. OMG, that would be an absolute blast to drive. Other than the heat generated inside that tiny interior compartment
  10. Nice, VERY nice
  11. Im typically not a fan of 30s and older cars. BUT, this is one I would certainly buy a kit of in a heartbeat . These cars just ooze style no others come close to ( imo )
  12. You sure buy a lot of weird / funky subject matter. I'm really liking the Heller Talbot kit.
  13. Very nice. This is one on my bucket list to do (along with several others....lol ) I was thinking just use / modify a more readily avail amt body and polar lights chassis and tins ?
  14. We agree....A LOT. I started maybe 3 or 4 years back buying up old annuals. I dont know the exact quanity count.....but If I print my excel spreadsheet of them it's 3 full pages worth. In contrast I could probably count the modern tooled kit purchases on both hands. I have more than enough kits stashed away to take.me to the end of my days and never have to buy another kit.....period.
  15. Paint the floor area ( or what ever you want 'carpeted ' with a like color paint ( some use clear elmers glue ) While the paint is still quite wet , sprinkle the embossing powder on it. Once dry turn the tub over and shake to remove any excess.,,,, viola , carpet.
  16. Ok, Now that the board has been upgraded. I've looked and looked and I still see no way to delete pictures other than go to each individual thread and modify them there, which to me seems like a HUGE pain in the ars . I would really prefer to be able to just open 'my attachments ' and click each individual picture and hit delete even multiples at a time ,,,sure sounds simple ? Opening an account on a 3rd party picture hosting site is not an option for me. I''ll go without posting pictures first ( simple personal preference reasons only )
  17. Depends on if the current Revell 1970 kit has the base vinyl interior or the upgraded leather interior seat pattern. Leather was the same on both 1970 and 1971 I don't have one close by to ck at the moment. Ive started on one but all I have done so far is body and paint ( Vitamin C orange to replicate a good friends car )
  18. Now there' an idea I never would have thought of. I may have to borrow your idea. Sorry guys but if I worried about the wrong font on license plate decal on a model car would take ALL the fun out of it for me.
  19. I've always thought the car looked like Mopars FY1 yellow. I' getting ready to build a 1970 charger in same color. And I think Tamiya __TS16____ is the closest I've found yet.
  20. Love to watch your cars come together. Being a huge fan of your same subject matter is only icing on the cake.
  21. Nice collection. I wonder why guys spend years to build such a collection. Then sell off a vast majority one assembled. I don' think he has owned the landy or gas Ronda car all that long.
  22. No names need mentioned. But I know EXACTLY who you refer to . and I refuse to buy from him even though on some he is the only game in town for some . I'll do without first.
  23. I'll think about it and get back to you..........................................................Im thinking,.....................................................I;m thinking ................................................. Better yet, I'll just say ,,,,nope. Sorry bud. Ive been after one of these for a while. The body on this thing is pristine.
