Honestly, if I had the funds, I'd want to build that car in full scale...with you credited as the designer, naturally. Done right, it's a sure Riddler contender, no doubt about it.

It's rare that a design works so well, with everything so perfectly proportioned and well integrated.

The curved tempered side glass is the only thing that would be particularly difficult to do in 1:1...but I know one company that could do it.

I've been looking for 67 galaxie kits in my price range also, I was thinking Galaxie GT might be a "phantom" body style that Ford decided would crowd the rest of their market so it never got produced.

That has got to be one of the worst designs in a very long time. That is just an opinion and not meant to insult anyone who may have one and think it looks good.

Edit: Looking at this closer, the sail panel should probably be swept more like a 70 Ford Galaxie or Marauder.

Speaking of Japanese car names, I've heard that the Mitsubishi Starion was actually supposed to be Stallion, but the Japanese had have a problem pronouncing el's and ahr's.

That's not bad at all, but I think the original roof is fine.

To me, the major styling snafu on the '63-'65 Riv is the whole rear end. I always thought that it looked like about 2:30 one Friday afternoon, they realized that they had to design the whole rear end by 5:00. The rear end of the '64-'65 Skylark would have worked MUCH better. One of these days I'm gonna built an AMT '65 Riv that way.

Ah, I remember the other thread from way back then. I loved it and even had a crack at it myself using GIMP to try and restyle the backend of a Suzuki Baleno. I wish I could remember how to do such things but I have forgotten.
The Nissan Puke is so ugly that only dynamite can make it better.
I do like the redesign of the Saab Sonnet above, much more GT-car look.

Hey, nice work Allen. I think the bow flat fenders make it distinctive enough.

While the Juke is a style I love to hate, it's been growing on me from the point of view that anything different is good.

That is a vast improvement and would have made more economic sense for the manufacture, but I still wouldn't want one. .

I happen to know some non-native-English-speaking Japanese, and they DO have a problem with differentiating between our pronunciation of R and L.

As a matter of fact, I know a Japanese woman who has a stuffed toy kangaroo, which she laughingly refers to as "Loo". Get it?

Oh my!  Someone making something out of nothing. My goodness. I'm a Pollack and d-a-m-n proud of it.  I also enjoy good Polish jokes. Self-deprecating? Maybe. Not a bigot.  If you can't take my joke (and see it as racist or bigoted, then you are seeing something that isn't there).  If we all have to turn into humorless touchy-feely drones then I might as well hide in my workshop and stay of the Interwebs.

I do agree with you on one thing - more Photoshops lease.

PS. You probably won't find http://www.engrish.com/ amusing either - I do.  I even submitted some entries from when I visited Japan.  None of it was racially motivated or bigoted.
