I'd buy one just for the history of it. No real desire to build, at least not according to the instructions.

I would buy it for the 27 Ford and the other car would be spare parts.

Same as 426 pack. I'ld like the phaeton and have no interest in the xr6 except for parts

Based on the several partial kits I have bought over the years, that seems to have been what most model builders were thinking back in the day.

What day was that ? :)

I got one when they first came out in the mid sixties.

Saw the articles in Hot Rod Magazine and thought what a cool idea.

I built the XR-6 and the tub.

Then I needed a body for a slot car, well that XR-6 worked out just fine.

Back in the day,

i already have one in my stash, but it's one i'd like to see come back.  Even if the XR-6 part is lost to history, I thik there are people who would like to see the '27 touring come back with some of the custom parts from the original issue.

Heck Yeah! Send about 6 of those. You can NEVER have too many XR-6's... I have two of the original XR-6 kits, Four of the '27 Firetruck versions of this tool, two My Mother the Car kits(also from this tool) and a half dozen of the later versions of the touring, including the Hillbilly Hotrod. It is a fabulous kit. Needs to be brought back restored. It would be nice to see the firetruck version back as well.

I'm with Snake on this one. I already have the T touring by itself. And I've never been all that interested in the XR-6. But, if it was reissued I'd probably buy one. Just because I love those old AMT reissues.
