Makes me wonder if anyone has ever modelled John Lennon's personal Rolls. Now that was a wild, psychedelic ride! Is that Aston Martin the Airfix, Nichimo or the Aurora kit? It does James Bond proud. Thanks, Patrick!, those aren't decals, I hand painted everything.....basically three times, since I did three THIN coats of each kolor. The DB-5 is the Doyusha "Goldfinger" kit.

christian-w Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 (edited) This is a nice thread As I scrolled through it, I saw, that I have a 82 Trans Am which is nearly the one of Ponch. Missing the T-Tops, rear deck spoiler and some details in painting. Good idea, to get another hand on it. Some other Movie Cars, I own. I didn't think, that there are this much. Bullit's Mustang Mr. Bean's Mini Gotham City Police car KARR Then I built some KITT. There are 6 KITTs parking in my shelf. Most of them black of cause. So I'll show my first built KITT. This was in the mid 1990s as the KITT was available in Germany This one I built out of a glue bomb Then the red one - because I built all the generations in red, so there has to be a red KITT. Michael Long's TransAm before his accident Al Bundy's "Dodge" - we all know, that it's a Plymouth. Is he talking of a Dodge in the US too? In Germany he drives / it's translated to a "Dodge". Sorry, no vinyl top. Back to the future Miami Vice This was the Charger of my favorite tv show Burn Notice. Bought it as a gluebomb :/ xXx The Bandit by monogram and by MPC/ERTL The General Lee No you have to be tough: bought some gluebombs of the A-Team van an Nash Bridge's Hemi. Sorry. They didn't make it so far to be noticed as movie cars. My love bug in progress. Another glue bomb I got. Edited July 5, 2018 by christian-w
Oldcarfan27 Posted July 5, 2018 Author Posted July 5, 2018 Great collection of TV cars, Thanks, Chris
Oldcarfan27 Posted July 5, 2018 Author Posted July 5, 2018 All this talk about Ponch's Firebird got me amped to start a build on one myself. Here it is so far... Including the reverse spats and the Formula T/A hybrid fenders and hood. I've even corrected the squared off grille openings. And I already have an orange/bronze spray paint set aside for this car. Now, I just need a gold 79 chicken for the hood and 71 bucket seats - if anyone has any to spare.
christian-w Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 (edited) You're welcome. Looking forward to see some pictures of your progress on the Trans Am. I never noticed the different hood and kind of second fender fents on this (movie)car. It looks good. Edited July 6, 2018 by christian-w
Plashdaddy Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Here’s my Vanishing Point Challenger. Love that movie so much.
jsc Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Nothing too crazy here. Here's the Bandit I did a while ago
Jay Posted July 7, 2018 Posted July 7, 2018 Michael Keaton’s 1989 Batmobile. This is a Bandai 1/32nd scale kit. I used Honda nighthawk black pearl with Tamiya dull coat. The real car was layered with several different colors to get the look Tim Burton was looking for on screen. There was a bluish hue to the paint. 1

christian-w Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 Funny This Batmobile looks great! Also I like the small details on the Bandit. The hat. Then I see, that my Bandit Trans Am has no license plate at all
MG Brown Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 I am at the start of converting the Vanishing Point Challenger kit to the "Spy Guy Car" Special Agent Edition from the FX TV series "Archer". I am going to try and get as many of the "spy" accessories in the build as I can. Although the car has 440+6 emblems, it appears to have a 8bbl Hemi under the hood. Not sure what engine I will put in it. Thoughts?
Safire6 Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 I see that some of you have built a couple vehicles from the Cheech and Chong movie "Up in Smoke", namely the '64 Impala and the '66 Chevy "Hollenbeck Laundry" delivery truck. Has anyone ever built the green van from the movie? If so (or if not) what would be the best kits to bash to try to build it (if anything close even exists)?

Geno Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 (edited) "The Punisher" GTO. Converted from the Testors '69 Judge diecast kit. Edited September 24, 2020 by Geno
iamsuperdan Posted September 24, 2020 Posted September 24, 2020 I've only finished a couple so far, but I have a bunch destined to be movie cars. Dennis Guilder's Charger, and Buddy Repperton's Camaro. The star car is currently on the bench having paint issues. These are obviously from the movie, but I plan to build the cars as featured in the book too, as they were changed for the film. 1
