Straightliner59 Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 Man, Art, this is very cool! I can't imagine myself saying that about this kit. You absolutely aced the interior! Great work! Is it just me, or is there something in the lines of this car reminiscent of Jocko's 'liner? Nice work, sir!
Art Laski Posted November 4, 2018 Author Posted November 4, 2018 (edited) I really appreciate the comments. Late night, but finished it up for the show. Here's a sneak peek before it goes under glass! Edited November 5, 2018 by Art Laski
Dennis Lacy Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 I can't wait to see this in person today. It looks incredible!
Mooneyzs Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 Art... This looks fantastic and turned out Killer. Glad to hear you got her all done just in time for the show. Have a great time. Wish I was able to make it out to the show. Maybe Next year.
Anglia105E Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 Hope you do well at the show Art, this model is very nicely finished and your attention to detail is top class. Unusual choice of subject and it has worked so well for you. David

Jantrix Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Man, that is slick! Very, very well executed and it looks terrific.
curt raitz Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 (edited) I totally missed this thread... It was great to see the model and you at the Spirit of Speed 4 Model Car contest this past Sunday. Excellent build buddy... Probably see you at the NNL West in January...maybe not because it's the same weekend as the Grand National Event in Pomona. Edited November 8, 2018 by curt raitz
Eric Macleod Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Absolutely. Fabulous. Nothing not to like. I would have picked it as a winner also!

My only gripe is you brought that Teresi guy with you and he didn't leave any of the hardware for the rest of us! It was an awesome show, and it was great to see both of you. I will be at the NNL West. Pulling a double and will be at the GNRS on Sunday too.
iBorg Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 KILLER! Looks like it needs to be in a corner with a Cobra fighting for position.

Next time I bring the Teresi guy, he's gonna be limited to just 5 models! Not the 24 he brought.

On a smaller forum Bernard gave us a peek yesterday at the hand-laced dragster wheels your getting ready to produce and sell. Nice. Very nice! I don't know if it was 24 but I started noticing he brought A LOT of models, LOL!
Tom Geiger Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 Great work Art! Bring 'er East this spring! Just saying...

Yah, Bernard, Teresi and Kevin Wight are part of my research and development team on the wire wheels. Just found out front dragster wire wheels are kitted in two different sizes: .740" and .790". It seems the Front Engine Dragsters ran the .740" wheels and the rear engine dragsters ran the .790" wheels. I'll be making both. c'ya
Modelbuilder Mark Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Can't wait to see this one in person!
Rider Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 The visual changes you made to this really make it a much better looking car, not so cartoonish, great stuff. The wheels and side pipes help bring it all together. I really like this.
