ATHU Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Revell kit. I wasn't really happy about the side trim which came as plated parts, otherwise ok. Color combo is Snowcrest White/Tropical Turquoise. 1
Anglia105E Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Anders.... this is a really interesting scale model motor car, and I do like the colour combination. This turquoise and white '58 Impala and also a blue and white '55 Chevy that I've seen on here recently are just the best two-tone colours for the '50's period. Your build is very nicely done indeed. peekay Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Excellent+++ ! Everything looks clean, precise and just plain gorgeous. Makes me want to buy the kit.
Bucky Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 It's gorgeous!! Great colors with just the right fifties flavor!!
beeRS Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Lovely job. Looks great in turquoise. Why weren't you happy with the side trim? It looks fine to me.

David G. Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Excellent work, Love the choice of colors. David G.
TooOld Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Beautiful '58 Impala ! The separate side trim makes this kit easier to do than the AMT version but I'm not sure about it either .
crazyjim Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Looks like it just came off the dealers floor.
espo Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Beautiful looking build. Your exterior and interior colors look perfect, it's 1958 all over again. Sure miss the bright colors of long ago.

Lovefordgalaxie Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Real fine build!! Super clean, and with great color choice. Never the less it has the very same "problem" the '53 Ford kits from Lindberg, and now AMT have, the side trim is all molded separate, and that gives the finished product kind of a toy-ish look. That didn't stop me of building multiples of the '53 Ford kit .
