Chuck Most
So, what do you do if you have a '78 Subaru BRAT that's too rusted out to restore? Well, I'd chop it down to a three-window coupe body, fab up a new chassis, and stick the engine out back with a VW transaxle. But maybe I'm weird like that... 89AKurt
I like this very much! But I sure would add an air filter!

Chuck Most
Just gave this one a slight revision. It has a reworked front end, cycle fenders, new "Rat" graphics, a rear bumper with mud flap brackets, and an air filter housing made from an old STP Oil can. bisc63
Nice; and that is a cool shade of green. Mind sharing the paint color?
Oldcarfan27
That's a neat idea, a Subi on a VW pan. A Brat-Buggy. Just needs some paddle tires and a desolate place in the desert. That would be fun in real life! Very creative.

I don't know now. ? I know it's Tamiya acrylic but I don't recall the exact shade. The wheels are cockpit green but I'm drawing a blank on the body. Erik Smith
All right, that’s cool. I didn’t see this in ‘19, that I remember. I like the fender additions.
