stitchdup Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Sweet, I dont think I've seen that done before
ChrisBcritter Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 What a great idea! Did you have to alter the length of the roof or the bed to make it fit?
disabled modeler Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 very nicely done...very clean bodywork.
oldscool Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 That is the perfect subject for the El Camino treatment and you have executed it very well.

rickcaps55 Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Nice awesome job I love the colors you picked .!!!
Peter Lombardo Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Very nicely done...... love these pick-up conversion "What-If's" One note, I really like the painted rear bumper but think the front bumper painted to match would complete the lower body look. Other than that, I love it.
peekay Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Very cool! Pontiac did this as a one-off in 1959 and the result still survives. (But I suppose y'all know that.)
espo Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 Very smooth looking conversion. This looks like something Pontiac should have done. I like the paint combination and the wide whites give it a showroom appearance.
