Silver Foxx Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Built from a Tamiya kit , Tamiya paint ( Mica Silver TS76 ) .Black trim around windows is a bit rough as my old hands shake a bit these days . A great kit to build . 2
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Very nice paint and stance. Did you lower it?
89AKurt Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 That's pretty sweet! I have to assume it's a race car that's retired to do track time. The paint job looks great. I also sympathize about doing the window frame/gasket, one of my challenges. Does the kit have an engine?
matthijsgrit Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Great build. Suits your name very well ? I have this kit laying around to be RWB-'d.

I did not lower it , built straight from the box , it is the road going version (kit 24247 ) of the race car , no full engine , only underside detail . Thanks for the nice comments guys .
Brianl Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Sweet build mate! Stance and wheels make it look mean. Brian
lghtngyello03 Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Awesome, clean build! I have wanted to build one of these for the longest but can never run across a kit locally or at any hobby store...looks like I need to start searching ebay, lol.
Gramps46 Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 I am glad to see one built up. You did a great job with it.
iamsuperdan Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 That's the out-of-box ride height? Awesome. What colour did you go with for the interior? Compliments the silver really well. And the dark finish on the wheels is a great choice too.
Rich Chernosky Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Nice job Bruce, colour looks good. I mask and airbrush the black trim with Tamiya X-18. Its a lot more work but the lines come out nice and clean. Tamiya kits rule.
JJ Deuce Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 great work! I love the silver over red combo, especially on sports cars
Speedfreak Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Beautiful build Bruce! The quality of the kit shows through.
FabbricaP Posted September 11, 2019 Posted September 11, 2019 Stunning build! Love the silver and red interior combo
Nacho Z Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Nice Porsche, Bruce! Looks like you did a great job on a nice kit. I’m with everyone else, love the stance and the color combo!
Hmann68 Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Fantastic Porsche! The only Tamiya kits I’ve done were a few military models years ago. I’ve always been a fan of 911’s and after the last few cars I’ve done from Mpc, AMT etc, I’m thinking a Tamiya kit would be good medicine. Great work on yours, love the red interior and the wheels too. ??

The interior is Tamiya Oxide Red primer , Tamiya TS49 (bright red) and Testors Dullcote . Thanks for the nice comments .
beeRS Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Very nice work. Im surprised how low it looks straight out the box. Tamiya Silver really suits too.
