My former club in Jersey,  the Jersey Shore Model Car Club is along with my current club in NC, The Misfit Modelers.

We did have a Zoom meeting this week with the N C group and are still communicating via our Facebook page.

Everything is closed! Today would have been a Tri-State Scale Model Car Club meeting in New Jersey. Today we would’ve stuffed the goody bags for NNL East, which has been postponed until September.

As you said the Jersey Shore Model Car Club is not meeting, nor is the Jersey Scale Model Car Club that Al Meske hosts.

I know the Maryland MAMA club isn’t meeting and their May show is canceled.

Also canceled but past are the show in Taunton, Mass and the Philadelphia NNL.

We are planning on combining the Philadelphia NNL, NNL East and the Diversified Scalerz shows into one event, The Tri-State Trifecta on September 26 in Wayne, NJ. Go to NNL East Website   for details. We are planning one heck of a party once this is all over!

Yes, the MAMA's boys are home like the rest of us. ?.  However, like many of us we have some unplanned extra bench time and are getting some of those old stalled projects going again (and stuff done around the house too).  Thankfully Tim Sickle is keeping the newsletter going despite the loss of a friend and long time member Gary Sutherlin (see pic) who passed away a week ago (NOT from COVID-19).  For a tribute to Gary see www.mamasboyz.org and the fabulous newsletter Tim has graced the club with for the last three plus decades.  See everyone in September.

Our Local Club, (Bakersfield Area Modelers-B.A.M.) is canceled. We had a Zoom Meeting last week, but only 4 members were there. There may be another meeting today.

Yep.  Scale Auto Builders Assn and the Chicago area clubs I used to attend are all suspended.  More time to get organized after the move

Yeah, it sounds like the Algonquin Township Hall is closed right now because of this, which would hit both C.A.R.S. in Minature and GTR. Dad and I skipped the March meeting,  tonight's won't be happening because of this and it sounds like they're not sure about a May meeting from how the email sounded!

Yes.  And Lake Michigan Model Car club is also in the same boat.  Their meeting spot is a church hall and, even if available, the number of people would likely exceed.  Best to be safe.  We're talking about the possibility of using Zoom for a virtual meeting, but some members are not real internet savvy.  They could use phones, but not really the same.  Our two events, thus far, have been pushed back later in the year

We’re having a lot of dislocation in San Diego too. I don’t anticipate any in-person meetings until June, and we're trying to relocate our contest to September. It’s a pain, but I’d rather do this than attend funerals. We lost enough members last year.

That’s why Dad and I skipped the last meeting and I tried to stay away from him when I was sick last week and now Dad decided to hold off now the memorial for Mom in Iowa we were going to do in September too. He figures that we’ve just lost Mom, don’t need to add anybody else to that list with all that’s happening now!

Yes, all of them. Downriver Model Car Club, Detroit Area Auto Modelers, Eastside Modelers, and U.D.M.C.C. are all on hiatus.

My clubs have shut down thru next month anyway.  We are having a photo contest with everyone sending a photo in.  I say photo, but you know what I mean......

Doesn't seem that long ago I was complementing Gary on his entry into the T.R.O.G. themed Mid-Atlantic NNL show last May. Tragic.

Yes , Moonlight Modelers of Phoenix Arizona is down only after a vote from the members was called for. I was chastised for suggesting we not meet.

, saying i was "not showing some respect for the opinions of others"

" i personally feel the health risk is low at this time" really ?

"Once again stirring the pot and breeding division in the ranks."

Some people just don't see the seriousness of our situation.
