Hi  all, hope everyone and theirs are well.

Here's my latest build, finished it up this morning...

I started with this ebay original screw bottom old built up...

After a little sanding and Testor's paint.....

Thanks. Mine were in my parts box but I'm sure they are the custom caps in the original AMT 1960 3 in 1 customizing kits.

Thanks! Good catch there as that '60's "futuristic" styling was kind of what I was going for, like a factory concept.

Very nice rescue. I like the change of paint color. The cool taillights don't get overlooked like they did with the red paint. Great work!

Looking at the before pictures, and then seeing how you completed the body work the way it is supposed to be done and the color change, it's hard to think this is the same model. I think that the color change is the most outstanding feature to me.

Tom, I can't believe you didn't snag it first!  I reckon every kid that ever built this was hoping it would look as good as Ron's version. What a wonderful nostalgic flashback!

Alan I stopped buying a long time ago! No doubt I have near a dozen of that same custom version.
