WOW - so many incredibly cool Deuce Coupes. It was fun looking back on my builds from the past. Here are a few. The first grey 5-W was built with the AMT roof and Revell body before Revell released the 5-W

I used the rear pan and top of the engine from the newer release of the Aka Kart. Wheels/tires from a Monogram '30 ford. The headlights are Ala Kart inserts fitted into the housings of the AMT '53 ford P/U custom grill. Headers were found in the parts box. Quick change rear from a NASCAR truck kit, and adapted to the kit axle.

Some truly top notch eye candy on here. Keep them coming guys. I know I am inspired to do at least two coupes, after looking at the selection put on display here.

As I may have mentioned before, I have really built too many Deuces over the years. Below are some additional coupes not posted earlier.

From 2012, a chopped resin bodied 5-window lo-boy based on the AMT version. This was done as a tribute to thepartsbox.com, those fine resin casters from Australia. With the exception of the scratch-built chassis, suspension and wheels, all the parts are from their catalog (motor, body and tires). It is, of course, right hand drive.

Hey, the more , the merrier!  I love the top one. It has something very retro-aggressive in it.

I built this not long after i returned to the hobby in 2014. The paint is humbrol polished steel metaliser applied by brush. Its the revell kit and other than losing the fenders is box stock. Its due for a rebuild at some point after suffering some damage when I dropped it and my roadster. Iy has plenty of flaws the biggest of which is the upside down valve covers and oversized distributer

I like the pink. For some odd reason. I would never have a real car in that color, but on the model it looks very cool.

My 32, features the Desoto hemi from the amt 53 Ford pickup, wheels and rear tires are from the new revell 29 roadster kit, and the front tires are from the trailer in the revell kurtis racer kit.

this is my first channeled rod and a lot was learned on getting it all to sync together, getting the interior channeled was the longest on the list. Overall I’m pretty pleased with this build.

Built this before the Revell kit came out using an AMT roof on a revell roadster body
