Thanks. The engine has a Latham Supercharger with manifolds to run the 6 carbs vertically. I have a pic of the 1:1 setup somewhere. Paint is Alclad Candy Yellow over Gold Base topped with LMG "Super Gold Pearl" & fogged "Orange Accent." Old thread is here: Some of the in progress pix aren't showing up. Trying to locate them.
stitchdup Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 (edited) Another old build from 2015 this time. Its box stock other thn the drilled axle but I tried to gve it a 60s look with the paint. Again it was damaged when i dropped it and the roadster but I have all the parts to rebuild it someday Edited November 22, 2020 by stitchdup
Bernard Kron Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 I do believe these are the last remaining examples of Deuce roadsters from by collection of builds… I sure have built a lot of these things! Jantrix Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 The grey roadster was a personal challenge to come up with a deuce the way I would want one if I had the means. So this is the Revell roadster, channeled the width of the frame. The flathead that came in the sedn kit, and '39 Chevy headlights. The grill was made from two pick up truck rear fenders sandwiched together and then had slots cut. Wheels and tires from the Revell '29 Model A pickup. Paint is Duplicolor Graphite and Testors Wet Look Clear. The blue one is a late 80's build when I was 18 or so. AMT kit, slightly lowered with an SBC. 1

Paul Payne Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Here’s another one that needs some updates! Also, a few pix reloaded to display unseen wonders!
Plowboy Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Not a roadster. But, I guess it qualifies as a cabriolet. Never have been happy with the wheels. But, not enough to change them yet. 3
Bernard Kron Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 Nice backdating of the Rat Roaster, RRR. Nothing like classic maroon to set the tone. Bravo!
Bernard Kron Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 It occurred to me that I hadn't added my most recent Deuce Roadster to this thread. from last September, it's a 50's style high-bucks channeled show rod. Like all my Deuce roadsters it's based on the Revell kits, this time with liberal use of my spare parts box. Also, I left out couple of other builds from My Back Pages. This is a representation of "The Deuce" from the original 1959 Trophy Series release box art, but done almost entirely with Revell parts. It's from November 2018. And a quick-build from 2014, again from the Revell kits, this time almost straight OOB. Aptly named "Therapy" since it was a slump buster, it went together in less than a week, hence the black primer paint job. 3
Claude Thibodeau Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 HI! Here's my So-Can Speed Shop Bonneville 32 roadster. Long live the salt! CT 3
doggie427 Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Outstanding Claude ! You have a beautiful touch with Bonneville/dry lakes cars.

I love the "non over-organized" aspect of the lakes racing. One of the last basion of "amateur" motor sport. The amount of imagination and ingenuity these guys come up with always amazes me. I try my best to convey that in my yearly Bonneville cars... My latest one (a scratchbuilt streamliner) will be on this forum in a few days. Hope you like it! CT
Dan Hay Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 (edited) Here's a few I've built over the last 15 years. The first 3 are 1/8th, the last one I built recently as a model of the famous McGee Roadster. It's not an exact replica but close. Edited April 1, 2022 by Dan Hay 3

Gramps46 Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 The only thing special about these 2 is they are 60 years old. I am lucky to still have them in my collection. 4
Phildaupho Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 (edited) This is my most recent Deuce roadster built in preparations for the Deuce Days in Scale Model Car Show in Victoria BC Canada July 17. It is a tribute but not a total replica of the McMullen Deuce. Edited May 25, 2022 by Phildaupho 7
