Jantrix Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 (edited) I'm doing new photos of some of my older builds, so I'll post them up as I go. This is the AMT '65 Lincoln. I used the station wagon parts to create a four door pick up, used a lot of the custom parts from the kit, then scratch built the racks and the boards. A fun build. The boards may seem too long on the model, but for an old school long board they are pretty correct to scale. Edited November 9, 2020 by Jantrix
Modlbldr Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Cool idea for a longboard hauler. Nice! Later-
TimKustom Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 That's cool. I like the swirl-a-delis finish on the boards. Nice touch!

espo Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Interesting body work and I like the paint job. The Surf Boards finish has an organic look to them. I also like the big engine, never have enough power.
doorsovdoon Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 I forgot this kit comes with a station wagon option. I like what you've done with it, nice custom build this one.
Lunajammer Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Such a cool piece. Love the engine with the carb set up. I've got a couple in my parts box that go unused because nothing seems good enough for them.
Jantrix Posted November 13, 2020 Author Posted November 13, 2020 Thanks very much, everyone. Much appreciated.
thatz4u Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 on a scale from 1 to 10, I give it a "Hang 10"......
Koellefornia Kid Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 Very nice, Rob. Really like the style. Actually I think it's the first 65 Lincoln build That looks cool with the box custom parts!
crazyjim Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Pretty cool build. I agree with Tim on the boards.
