Don't know if it's great, but it's been brushwork.  What helped in achieving this result is the crisp details on the kit's dashboard - and the use of Tamiya acrylic colors, which are great for painting such details (just have to dilute them to the right degree).

Gorgeous! I’ve been sitting on a bottle of the exact same color (ScaleFinishes) for 6 months earmarked specifically for the JoHan ‘63 Starfire hardtop in my stash. I guess great minds think alike. Fantastic resto job!
