ewetwo Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Finished this today. I actually owned this car when I was a kid. Wish I still had it. A beautiful car. I know the color is isn't correct. But I did this because the woman I bought the car from had it repainted. And it was a bit more yellow that the original yellow.
Snake45 Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Very nice, very sharp! You're getting better with every new completion. Well done and model on!
Bills72sj Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Very nice work. The hub cap detail is well done. My Dad had a black 64 station wagon with the wood grain sides when I was a kid.
hedotwo Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Great clean build Dave! Love the shade of yellow also.
espo Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Great looking Galaxy. Always fun to build a model of a car or truck you owned at one time, a the fond memories come to mind as you're build. These were good cruisers .
Kromolly Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Very nice looking Galaxie. Super clean and well-detailed build.

ewetwo Posted March 29, 2021 Author Posted March 29, 2021 Thank you Ray and Andy. I did try foiling a bit. But not all. The side trim was dreadful for me.
bisc63 Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Very clean and attractive model. I love the yellow; cool choice!
