66 Nova Sedan

This is a resin body that I got in a trade recently. The paint is Tamiya Gunmetal with Tamiya TS 20 Metallic Green then topped with Tamiya X 25 Clear Green. The chrome has three light coats of Tamiya Smoke sprayed over it. Thinking of something like an LS7 for power.

Aww yeah, this is gonna be a cool build!

I love the wheels, and the effect that the Tamiya smoke gives over the bumpers is really cool - storing that tip away for the future!

Yeah, I like the look of the darker chrome. I'll definitely be using it again.

That is one gorgeous color. Looks like it has been plated and not painted.

That green is awesome. You'll need at least an LS7 to smoke those big rears.

Really like where this is going Tom. That green is sweet. I did a curb side ‘66 in Bahama blue with the tinted chrome and think it looks great. I’ll be following.

Thanks for all of the kind responses guys! This one has gotten held up.trying to find an engine for it. I am also debating with myself on ideas for customizing the interior. I think I have the interior planned out now. As soon as I find the kit I'm looking for to rob an engine out of I'll be moving forward.

Got a couple of 3D printed 572's (stock and blown) in today. I think I may be back on track with this one. Going to try to scratchbuild a twin turbo system along with the 572.

Looks like a great project. Excellent shade of green, it reminds me of the green on a Japanese Beetle.
