Just completed my Foose 1956 FD100 pickuo. I sanded the Foose lettering off the tailgate. Placed an order from Scalefiniahes for some House of Kolor Tangelo Laqcuer. Cleared with Tamiya Clear. Handpainted the bed floor for a wood look. Interior and engine is Radome Tan. Orange plug wire from detail box.

Nicely done.  Killer looking 56 dude.  Makes me want to pull my other one out and build it.

Hi Jason, very nice build. The body colour is outstanding, excellent job on the “wood” bed, looks convincing.

Beautiful looking pickup. The color, for me, is the most striking. Great looking bed floor and the window trim is real clean looking. Your contrasting interior and chassis looks great as well.

HI!

Great build, and the accent color for the interior and engine is tops.

I was in bike custom painting during the 90s, and we did countless customs with that HOK Tangelo. It really pops. You may also try using tangelo over Neon Orange (HOK)... It has so much luminosity, you'd swear it's a lightbulb bein turned on.

I'm not familiar with this particular kit but your model is very well done, nice attention to detail and very clean workmanship. It's a very real looking model truck.

Thanks for the comments. I took this model to my local hobby shop I go and showed him.  He asked if he could display it for awhile? He really liked. I never had anything happen like that before. So it is currently on display in the hobby shop.

Nice Jason.  Have any pics of you fine looking 56 on display at your local hobby shop?

No I didn't get any. I had my 8 yr soon to be 9 yr old son with me. He got his model rocket engines and he was ready to go, kinda rushed me out the door. Next time I'm there I will be sure to get some pics.
