Beamerman Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Hi all, I hope you are doing well despite the pandemic. Special greetings to all of you around the world who are still in a lockdown. Stay strong! Well i was very busy the last weeks and don´t have much time for modelling. But a few month ago i decided to build a model box stock and not to do any customizing. I just wanted to finish a Model clean and check my skills. Ok it was more work than i thought first. The Bel Air Indy 500 Pace Car was always one of my favorite Models. As a young boy i dreamed about building all Indy 500 Pace Cars which are available in 1/24 or 1/25 scale. So 30 years later this will be the first....;-) Build Box Stock except for some wiring and flocking... Paint is Tamiya TS7 Red and mixed Testors White and Ivory for the Body, Testors Chevrolet Engine Red for the Engine and Tamiya Red Primer for the Chassis. I hope you like and happy about every comment also critical ones... Stay healthy and kind regards from germany! Cheers! 1
bisc63 Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Gorgeous paint work on an exemplary model. The engine bay finishes are especially convincing. Well done!
Bills72sj Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Dang that is sweet! I will trade you a sealed kit of one for it. I would love to have yours in my display case. I know I could not do it any better.
Zippi Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 Super clean looking 55. Great detail work. Out of the Tri-Five the 55 is my favorite since I owned one. Very aggressive front grille.
doorsovdoon Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 Love the deep shine on that red paint. Very nice clean build there.
