Immortal Chips Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Hi all, just completed the second addition to my Hubert Platt stable, the Little Georgia Shaker Thunderbolt. It is built from the Revell Platt T-bolt kit but went with a slightly darker shade of blue and stuck with the factory steel wheels over the chrome Howard Racing wheels. Thanks for looking. 2
Zippi Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 Nice build on both. Everything on the business end looks nice and clean.
Intmd8r Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 That's a nice blue and excellent build execution. I have a soft spot for the T-Bolts, and this one looks great.
papajohn97 Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Beautiful execution on one of Revell’s best 1/25 auto kits. The black steelies are a great choice with the dark blue, gives it a realistic understated early ‘60’s super stocker look. The decals and your application of them are very nice - are they a Fred Cady set?

Snake45 Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 What a clean, sharp build! VERY well done and model on!
alan barton Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Nice job Nick! That blue is stunning _ I used it on my 63 Galaxie slot car with similar effect. It loves the sunlight! Like others have said, the black wheels really add to the factory no-frills vibe. Cheers Alan

Tuffy's Garage Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 Great build! Spent an afternoon with Hubert a long time ago what a nice man and the stories he had were great
Bainford Posted October 13, 2021 Posted October 13, 2021 Sweet T-Bolt. Hubert's stuff always looks cool, and your build nailed the look. Well done.
Daddyfink Posted October 16, 2021 Posted October 16, 2021 Very nice build, and that color just transported me back to when I was a little kid and my Uncle painted his '66 Mustang a very similar Metallic Blue color!
