Pat Minarick Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Built this replica of the real truck I'm building. 1
Zippi Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 That is one kewl looking 40 Dodge pickup. Looks spot on to the 1:1. Great job on the weathering look. The wheels, the stance, and the pipes give it that WOW factor. Great job.
Painted Black Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Man I love rusty trucks. Yours it the best yet. Job well done!
Zippi Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 If you don't mind me asking....what kit is this?
happy grumpy Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Awesome job. everything about it looks just right. The photography is top notch. Museum quality.
mchook Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Amazing job! Is it 1/24 1/25 scale? Diecast or resin?
espo Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Very realistic looking patina finish. I like the fender dents as well as the door and other body parts that show wear. From the duel exhaust stacks I think something a little more powerful than the flathead inline 6 is under the hood.
Watertown Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 (edited) Absolutely fantastic!! What did you use as the basis for this? Having just sold my 1:1 (pic's below), I'd love to recreate it in scale. Beautiful work, my friend!! Edited November 24, 2021 by Watertown
NOBLNG Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Very convincing rust job on there! Nice body patches too.??
Bainford Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Totally cool! Outstanding weathering and patina, and wicked style. I love it.
Steve H Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 Hi Pat, very cool looking truck! The patina is spot on. I would also like to know the source for this kit, it’s a beauty. Cheers, Steve
