classic
This is the C1 Models resin conversion for the Aoshima MG Roadster kit. It is modelled after a car owned by a friend of mine in the 80's. I modified the grill and interior to match the V8 version including addition of headrests and centre console. Paint is Aconite by Zero Paints and GX112 clear coat from Mr Hobby. Thanks for looking. Atb, Steve.

Oldmopars
Very cool, great job. I love the look and the paint is wonderful. I have always loved MG's and the GT V8 has been a favorite for many years. Just excellent.
Safire6
I love it! I had a grade-school teacher that had a BRG MGBGT. It started my love for British cars. Is that a Webasto roof? I like the diorama too!
Kah puts
Wow, I'm very impressed. This would be front and center on my display case.
Spottedlaurel
Nice work Steve. You've captured the subtly different look of the V8 very well, great period colour too!
beeRS
Oh that is BEAUTIFUL!! Does the C1 body shell come with a Webasto roof? Are the wheels from C1 too?

Thanks Sonny, C1 Models offers a basic kit with the shell and rear interior in resin. The resin bodyshell is simply superb! There are a number of options to choose from including different dashboard lay-outs in both left and right hand drive and a pair of late door cards. You can also choose different wheels and an optional Webasto roof. He also does a lovely pair of 'Tex' door mirrors. This is the second build I have done. The first one was of the Frontline 50 LE car. I managed to get a pretty good replica of that beauty from the C1 conversion. P.S I don't have any interest in C1 Models other than being a big fan of his products. Atb, Steve.
beeRS
Thanks Steve. I was going to buy from Hiroboy, but not all those options are available.
classic
Yes, probably best going direct to Chris at C1. I believe he is closed for Christmas now as he's very busy getting the latest kit out, a Sebring version of the MGB GT! Here are a couple more pics of the Frontline Developments car for you. Dave B Thanks Dave, hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Two tips to pass on, take some time working out the ride height, it really needs lowering and the rear track narrowing slightly. Also, cut inside the line on the window templates, they will fit perfect first time if you do this 👍 Atb, Steve.
Bainford
I love me some B GT, and both of your examples are gorgeous. Excellent work, and really digging the v-8. Nice work capturing the subtle details, the window trims looking particularly good, and I love the wabasto roof. I have one of Chris' GT bodies in the stash, and this thread provides lots of inspiration. Cheers
