doorsovdoon Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 I've had a really fun time building these and thank you all for your hints tips and kind comments that helped make them what they are. Merry Christmas guys:) 1
bogger44 Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Fantastic year! Quantity & quality. That Wildcat really grabbed my attention.
BeakDoc Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Jeepers, Gareth, you have been on fire this year! I missed a lot of these as they went up in real time. Great work on the big rigs. The weathering of the stacks on the Mack is out of sight! Also, the stuffed elephant (from the AMT Grand Prix kit, if memory serves) bungee corded to the grill is an awesome touch. Cheers and Happy New Year to you, good sir!
NOBLNG Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Wow, that’s a lot of building…and they all look great!?
Plowboy Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 A nice group of models! You've been quite busy this year! Somehow I missed some of them when posted originally. Nice work!
Kah puts Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Them's some sweet looking builds, you've had a fine year.
Bills72sj Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Well done. I love the big rigs and the Chargers. That Edsel is nice too.
doorsovdoon Posted December 27, 2021 Author Posted December 27, 2021 Thanks guys. I didn't realise how many builds I completed until I was gathering my pictures for this thread! Lol. A display cabinet or shelves are most definitely on the list for the new year, haha.

I said exactly this on Facebook a while back and got a warning for making a terroristic threat! ? Great year in models Gareth! Just looking at that Chrysler's rear bumper I was thinking you'd need two guys to carry it! One heavy unit!

And then there are those want AI to drive our cars for us.
1959scudetto Posted December 27, 2021 Posted December 27, 2021 Very productive year, Gareth - I admired some of your models earlier in the year, but how could I miss this '59 Imperial? The scene from "Bullitt" is great, too !

Steve H Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Wow!! Gareth, you had an amazing year of building. You also inspired me to buy a couple of rigs. Not sure yet when I will build them. Knowing absolutely nothing about rigs, they will be an adventure. Cheers mate, Steve
Spottedlaurel Posted December 28, 2021 Posted December 28, 2021 Crikey Gareth! What a collection of great builds, certainly some that passed me by and it's great to see them all.

Cheers and Happy New Year to you, good sir! The toy elephant is from the AMT '62 Buick Electra, probably my favourite AMT kit. I've built two of them and have another I want to convert to a convertible, but I haven't been brave enough to cut the roof off yet.

After you've built one you'll want to do another, and then you'll be looking at trailers to go with them, you'll see! I've built three big rigs, a trailer, and have two more rigs to build and will probably be wanting another trailer... or two, problem is I have absolutely nowhere to put them! Lol
TooOld Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Looks like you had a great year Gareth ! Hard to pick a favorite , I like them all !
