Jeepers, Gareth, you have been on fire this year! I missed a lot of these as they went up in real time. Great work on the big rigs. The weathering of the stacks on the Mack is out of sight! Also, the stuffed elephant (from the AMT Grand Prix kit, if memory serves) bungee corded to the grill is an awesome touch. Cheers and Happy New Year to you, good sir!

Thanks guys. I didn't realise how many builds I completed until I was gathering my pictures for this thread! Lol. A display cabinet or shelves are most definitely on the list for the new year, haha.

I said exactly this on Facebook a while back and got a warning for making a terroristic threat!   ?

Great year in models Gareth!   Just looking at that Chrysler's rear bumper I was thinking you'd need two guys to carry it!  One heavy unit!

Very productive year, Gareth - I admired some of your models earlier in the year, but how could I miss this '59 Imperial?

The scene from "Bullitt" is great, too !

Thanks, Helmut. I had fun building the Bullitt cars.

Wow!! Gareth, you had an amazing year of building. You also inspired me to buy a couple of rigs. Not sure yet when I will build them. Knowing absolutely nothing about rigs, they will be an adventure.

Cheers mate, Steve

The toy elephant is from the AMT '62 Buick Electra, probably my favourite AMT kit. I've built two of them and have another I want to convert to a convertible, but I haven't been brave enough to cut the roof off yet.

Thanks Steve. These big rig kits are seriously addictive. After you've built one you'll want to do another, and then you'll be looking at trailers to go with them, you'll see! I've built three big rigs, a trailer, and have two more rigs to build and will probably be wanting another trailer... or two, problem is I have absolutely nowhere to put them! Lol
