It's getting warm again, so time to get back to this. Got some external painting done. Color is Tamiya Champagne. I think the "W" looks off, but it's correct for the period. Still bugs me a little, though.

I just found this thread and all I can say is WOW! Great work on all the scratch building, paint looks great, too! Keep up the great work!

My that is a big one! Poor little chassis and wheels, hope its got a V10 in it! Love how neatly it's striped with all the vents and such replicated, very thorough work

Really glad to see this one back on the bench. I've been keeping an eye out for it. The paint is bringing it to life. The W looks good.

That is a superb build so far. You have it perfectly replicated. We have a Thor 29G class A of very similar construction. It looks like you have not missed a single item!

My parents had a 24 foot Winnebago in the '70's, powered by a Dodge 318 with a Torqueflite transmission. That thing could pass everything but a gas station, average gas mileage was 7 MPG, 8 with a tailwind or going downhill!

 

Another outstanding scratch built masterpiece Tom!
