My 49 Sled

James2

Recommended Posts

Originally finished in 2015, this Merc was damaged during a relocation time. It has been in the box waiting for paint for a few years after I redid the body and gathered parts.

This week I have been able to accomplish everything except the touch up! That will be done this weekend...

It has been pie sectioned, smoothed, modified, grilled, channeled, skirted, nosed, new headlights, shaped tail and of course chopped.

Another piece of the "Finish'em All Tour" is in place. Thanks for looking

Thank you everyone, I'm pleased to have finally finished this one, AGAIN!

The paint is Dupli-Color Perfect Match Stone White (PW1) and a Military Grey I had laying around. To give you an idea, this is how much damage was done to the original build.
