Rocking Rodney Rat Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 (edited) Based on the Revell kit. -filled in the 'gaping maw' of the rear wheel wells. -full hood and sides. -powered by a blown 5.0L Ford with a T5 transmission. -wheels are the fronts from the Rat Roaster, rears widened to fit the '29 tires. -paint is Testors Extreme Turquoise shot through an airbrush, Tamiya white with Tamiya pearl white shot over the interior panels and seats. Thanks for looking.... -RRR Edited June 21, 2022 by Rocking Rodney Rat 5
espo Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Beautiful looking color and paint finish. Like the way you did the interior colors. Everything including the chassis is so cleanly done.
Kah puts Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 That paint looks great, the style is really traditionally sharp.
Smitty Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 No, not just ‘another 29 roadster’. This one has your stamp on it. I too like the cool color choice and the overall clean, tasteful and traditional execution.
ea0863 Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Timeless look, and the teal color is a great deviation from the norm. Thanks for posting!
Dennis Lacy Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Definitely NOT just another ‘29 Roadster. Amazing what a few well planned changes can do for a kit. Making the wheel wells less obnoxious is a huge improvement and it looks great with the full hood and blown SBF tucked under it. Paint is beautiful and a great color choice. LOVE IT! ?
majel Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Very nice looking clean build. I really like the color combo.
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted June 20, 2022 Author Posted June 20, 2022 Thanks for all of the kind words, gents.... -RRR
TransAmMike Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Well Rodney, that is one clean '29. Amazine how these kits can be made to look so cool. Beautiful color and finish?
Jim B Posted June 20, 2022 Posted June 20, 2022 Really nice. I like it with the hood. Makes it different.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 Home Run. So cool to see the full good. Car looks fast. Go RRR.
mrm Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 Nice. It is almost a clone of my “Ice Cream Coupe”. I think they would look awesome displayed together.
thatz4u Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 like the color & really like the engine...well done
