Italeri Ferrari 250GT California

The "Bueller Ferrari" in blue. Almost completed several years ago, but was put aside and has been sitting in the box until I finally took some time to finish it..

A quite nice old kit that has some flaws such as wrong seats/door trim for this model and tires that are too wide and look a bit out of scale. I chose to build it OOB anyway.....

Blue color is my own mix and was cleared with Alclad aqua gloss and polished with Tamiya compounds.

Anders, this is the best of all your excellent models for me (because of the subject, of course !) - all your builds are outstanding !!!

My version can't compare with this one in any way, marvellous car (I prefer non-red Ferraris) !

This kit served as my introduction into car modeling.  I've always liked the Italeri Ferraris and the California was the best of them all.

nice work again from you, it looks great! I agree this one has to be in blue. I have two of these on stock (one in Revell, one in Italeri box - but it's the same kit) and I intend to build at least one of them, painted in dark metallic blue. ?

Of course I love this!  I was lucky to get Replicas & Miniatures of MD interior detail parts, many years ago.   Looks good in blue.
