SpikeSchumacher Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Hello Everyone, This is something I threw together for an old build of mine. All of the cactus (cacti?) are from a company called Epic Basing and are 3d printed. Everything else is a combination of various scenery materials. The adobe and the base are made out of 1" pink insulation foam. Cheers, Mathias 8
Doug 1061 Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Too cool. I think about trying a diorama but that's as far as it ever gets. 1 1
Bugatti Fan Posted August 17, 2022 Posted August 17, 2022 (edited) A really nice model build of the Tijuana Taxi and the diorama setting is just brilliant. The base edging if stained and polished and a nameplate added would finish off the diorama beautifully. Edited August 17, 2022 by Bugatti Fan 1
Street Rod Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 That’s just straight up cool! Great job on the Taxi, too! Perfect setting for the car! 1
TarheelRick Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Great looking scene you have created. Some really nice detail work. The only thing missing is a rattlesnake hiding somewhere, 1
TonyK Posted August 19, 2022 Posted August 19, 2022 Always enjoy looking at a good diorama as it shows the builders imagination and skill. This one is great! A fun subject. 1
SpikeSchumacher Posted August 19, 2022 Author Posted August 19, 2022 Thanks! Waiting for some Sculpy Clay to arrive to make a rattlesnake chasing the chicken running down to creek bed at the rear. May throw in a Gila monster somewhere as well ?

I have ordered some Black 2.0 to finish it off with.

bisc63 Posted October 9, 2022 Posted October 9, 2022 Very well considered and composed. Excellent diorama, and a very clean build of the TD-designed car. Very well done. 1
Kims Kustom Garage Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 That is awesome. I love the color of the taxi. What paint is that?
