Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Johan promo in Galloway Green from Scalefinishes. Thanks for looking. 5
unclescott58 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 The model looks great. I sure miss those big old Cadillacs. They sure had style. 1
fordf-100 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Looks great! Nice touch with the color matching hubcaps!
AMT68 Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 (edited) That turned out very pretty and I like the rub strip on the mid body section. I picked up one of these earlier this year that I plan to paint, foil and noticed the molded in rub strip would be a challenge to detail since it's so narrow. I plan on using a similar strip of styrene as in your excellent example. Edited August 30, 2022 by AMT68
oldscool Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Nice Caddy. As Pop used to say on Pawn stars "this is class". 1
Bills72sj Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 Thank you for sharing. That is a beautiful Caddy. 1

I'm trying to figure out a way to have the chrome strip surround the moldings. Just seems like a lot of work ?. On 8/31/2022 at 7:51 PM, Jeffcad said: Very nice Cadillac, love the color! Thank you. The Galloway Green Firemist was a request. It was nowhere on my radar and now I want to paint everything that color. It seems to bring out the elegant lines of the car. I have a '61 Fleetwood that I might use it on even though it wasn't available in '61. Thanks everyone
Peter Lombardo Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Wow, really nice. In a few of the photos it looks like a real Caddy, well done. 1
ea0863 Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 What a beauty! I drove one of these working at GM at the time. It was long enough for sure, but it was also WIDE. You could be sitting in one zip code, while your passenger was in another! 1
