Gramps46
Footnote: These are a mix of 1/25-1/24 plastic, scrachtbuilds, and diecast. In the '30s, i.e. the Stutz, cars were driven to Le Mans but needed support vehicles.

Pierre Rivard
Wow Gary, what a fabulous collection! All models I wish I can someday build, with the Porsche at the top of the list! Again and again you provide inspiration for the rest of us. Thank you for sharing this collection
1959scudetto
Wonderful collection of racers on trailers, Gary. I like them all, but am most impressed by the Cobra transporter with the GT40's, the King Cobra behind the Ford P/U and the Filipinetti 904 with the VW van. The XP87, or Bill Mitchell's 1959 Sting Ray racer was a solid resin casting done for Bill Landis and Dave Sposaro and was based upon a Scuderia Scale vacuum formed slot car body. I had to do some reshaping of the fenders and other details.

alan barton
Still my beating heart! What a wonderful collection of race teams. I loved putting race cars on trailers on the back of tow vehicles since my primary school Matchbox toy days. These are absolutely wonderful! If I had to pick a favourite, it would be the XP87 with the Elky but I could stare at all of them for hours! Cheers Alan
