yellowsportwagon Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 This is an original Johan kit that I wanted to improve upon yet not lose the whole character of the old kit. I did swap the body for a flared Flintstone resin body. I added inner fenders from a MPC 70 Cyclone. Fit like a glove!! Added missing roll bars an axle over rider shock and a correct seat. Used the old Johan shifter and fire bottle. Steering wheel from Brazil. Left the chassis as Johan made it but added a fuel cell and aluminum tube exhaust. Engine is original except for a resin dominator carb. Wheels from Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland and custom decals. I didn’t try to make it 100% just improved. It fought me for a long time. But it’s now done as it will be. 7

1959scudetto Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Very impressive model, Tim - the combination of the AMC muscle car with Penske's racing perfection created an awesome Trans_Am racer.
