Previous ones (after the first generation) were styled TO stick out.  First generation looked like their gasoline equivalent, the Echo, which you didn't see a lot of either, at least around here.

Now that they are mainstream (with full electrics out there now, some would say the Prius is now "behind the curve") they can now blend in with the pack.

That roofline though:

I’m glad a lot of folks like it don’t get me wrong, it’s just that to me it looks like Mama Fratoyota dropped it on its head.

Better. Original holier than thou owners now have full electrics. Newer Prii seem to either dronemobiles, or blossoming Verstappens with ensuing road manners. ? I do occasionally enjoy one crawling up my tailpipes. Irony.

It is funny how many of them are zipping around almost like they’re in a hot hatch……actually, a hot hatch Prius could make an interesting build in any scale!

Toyota finally laid off the "more is more" styling approach for this generation. Better engines, nicer interiors, clean and crisp styling (although I do agree the roofline is a little wonky). It's a very good option for those of us who aren't quite ready to go fully electric.

Same profile of smaller Tesla! They don't sell this version in the UK. In fact I've just gone to the website Toyota UK and they say that no new Prius models are coming to the UK!
