Rob Hall Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 It does looks pretty slick... better than previous generations, the styling of which varied from dowdy to bizarre... 1
Mark Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 Previous ones (after the first generation) were styled TO stick out. First generation looked like their gasoline equivalent, the Echo, which you didn't see a lot of either, at least around here. Now that they are mainstream (with full electrics out there now, some would say the Prius is now "behind the curve") they can now blend in with the pack.
BlackSheep214 Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 Now if only they actually put them on the dealership lots. ?
Smoke Wagon Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 That roofline though: I’m glad a lot of folks like it don’t get me wrong, it’s just that to me it looks like Mama Fratoyota dropped it on its head.
Joe Handley Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 It looks light years better than it’s predecessors, I just doubt I could get into it since I tend to get in rear first.
bbowser Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 It's not bad looking. Shockingly gorgeous? Meh.
keyser Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Better. Original holier than thou owners now have full electrics. Newer Prii seem to either dronemobiles, or blossoming Verstappens with ensuing road manners. ? I do occasionally enjoy one crawling up my tailpipes. Irony.
Dpate Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Hard pass for me. Looks like a nice car a Karen would drive too food lion for some early shopping.

It is funny how many of them are zipping around almost like they’re in a hot hatch……actually, a hot hatch Prius could make an interesting build in any scale!
jaymcminn Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Toyota finally laid off the "more is more" styling approach for this generation. Better engines, nicer interiors, clean and crisp styling (although I do agree the roofline is a little wonky). It's a very good option for those of us who aren't quite ready to go fully electric.
iamsuperdan Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 Same profile as the CyberTruck. But the Prius actually exists, so that's good. I like it. Wouldn't consider one for my garage, but it looks good. 1
PatW Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 (edited) Same profile of smaller Tesla! They don't sell this version in the UK. In fact I've just gone to the website Toyota UK and they say that no new Prius models are coming to the UK! Edited January 26, 2023 by PatW
deuces wild Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Where's Jeff Dunham when you need him... j/k? 2
