Casey Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Picked up these chrome parts on eBay, mostly for the SMP (AMT?) 1961(?) Chevy Pickup parts, especially the dog dish hub caps: There were some AMT '63 Thunderbird parts included, too, including the complete parking meter, speargun, Kat from AMT, and helmet: And some AMT '63 Impala asymmetrical custom parts: :
426 pack Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Just got a lot of cool stuff from model builders warehouse
Rodent Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Decided to pad the stash at HL before the coupon went away and while the sale was on. Been wanting all of these for a while, just never pulled the trigger. Wanted a Foose truck or two, but they didn't have any at the store I visited.
Modlbldr Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Picked up a few things today. 29 Ford and supplies from HL and the LHS. A complete unstarted 66 GT350H off of FB Marketplace during lunch for $10 ( only a two minute walk from work). And supplies from the Dollar Store. Not a bad haul today for $45. Later-
ZTony8 Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 A LHS has a January clearance every year so today I picked up a Tamiya Miata( the latest version), A Tamiya Skyline 2000, an Italeri Escort rally car , and the AMT Piranha drag car.

Nice models...and are they sitting on the trunk lid of a third generation Mazda 3...with a manual? Thank you Mazda, for being like that.
AMT68 Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Nice acquisition's especially that original release of the '70 Monte Carlo.

oter11 Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 recieved more model master paint today, about 100 bottles, just got them sorted most of these are military colors
Bullybeef Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Scored a load of nos resin and detail parts from a local from fb marketplace, and another load of rebuilders/parts cars from a local collector, he hates early cars so I get these fairly cheap! there is work involved to get these though, I have to sort and re-stack through piles of bins to find them.

You can still get a manual in the new Premium trim, but only in the hatch. And the dealers don't seem to be ordering many. When I got mine, one dealer had at least one manual sedan in each available color on the lot. Someone on some board had that emblem as an avatar, and I found an Etsy shop that sold the stickers.

I have a 15 Mazda 3 hatch now, but, sadly, a slush box. But it’s my 106 miles four days a week commuter, so it’s ok.
JJ Deuce Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Yesterday I got two Nova wagons and the Jimmy in the mail. Today I hit HL but didn't see any kits I "needed" Evan at 40% off, so I picked up a molotow pen, some testors bottles paint, and an airbrush cleaning kit,
OldNYJim Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Making the most of the 40% off at Hobby Lobby before they end it - got a couple more Revell 29s and this - been wanting to build some oval cars!

Great score..

Rodent Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Checked another HL this evening and scored a Foose truck. Seven kits in two days, I don't need anything more. Except a Nova wagon.
cobraman Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Got another Jimmy Flintstone body kit . This one an old step van ( bread van ) ? Also some aluminum tubing .
AMT68 Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 I was thinking about getting that tubing as I'm considering using it for exhaust tips.
niteowl7710 Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Anybody else get an "AMT" '64 Belvidere packed this way? The body, red taillights, Slant 6 runner, exhaust and Slant 6 transmission runner along with the interior floor pan, door panels and dash were all unbagged with the flippin tires tossed in on top. The chassis, suspension, V-8, and other bits along with the chrome and clear were bagged.
HomerS Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Parts box of built miscellaneous trucks.... Found at the bottom of the box.....AMT Chevy 1500 SS 454 (stock wheels not used) and the AMT Ford Lightning (not the current release as it has the correct tailgate...haven't found the drivers side headlight lens yet)
steveracer Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 I got this book in the mail that I ordered. I blitzed through it. Not really what I expected for detail drawings and images but will make some good reading on the development on the 5 cars built. This to support my Tamiya Lotus 79 build !
