Got some nice kits yesterday in a trade with Sam I Am. Thanks Buddy! It's a good thing both of us are reducing our stash! ?

I got my tiny drill bit set from Micro Mark. Maybe I will finally get those danged spotlights on the Supernatural build.

At So Cal Open I purchased an MPC 78 Camaro kit, AMT 69 Cougar XR 7 "Countdown" series and a Revell Germany Mercedes E-class wagon kit, all from David Cruz.

Also some supplies and a bottle of House of Kolor Violet paint (Raffle prize)

He's still around? Good; nice guy. Got some great projects from him at the Pomona Swap Meet long ago, including a real clean '61 Olds 88 and '61 Fleetwood.

Another of these. I built the first one in 2016!

Latest News! It came today 04.05.22. Although completely intact, one big factory sealed bag and separate tyres, the box and instructions look to have been in a very damp place for years. I looked at the date on both the box and instructions and it's 1965!

Two kits with the Michaels 20% coupon.  Revell XK-E coupe which will go nicely with the E-Type roadster kit I've had (Aoshima?).  Also a Revell Corvette C7.R kit.  Hadn't bought any cars in a while, being focused on Eduard Mustang F-6Ds.  THERE'S a nice kit if you at all like that sort of thing.

The plan is to restore most of them. I have traded a couple to local model friends and I think I am going to leave the 71 Duster and the 72 RR as is.

19 Weeks, 4 Days later, this detail-up set finally arrived. I had cheaped-out on shipping and had given up on having it arrive at all.

1982 Monogram 1/24 Ford Motorsport Mustang IMSA race car, the companion piece to the 1985 Ford GTP car I got last week. Again a ratty box, perfect inside.

This is a kit I didn't even know existed until I saw it mentioned in a thread on this board.

The GTP and this kit share absolutely nothing, and after looking them both over carefully, I'm very impressed with the complexity and quality of the tooling on both.

Considering they're old dinosaurs, measured and designed in the days before scanners and CAD made everything oh-so-much-better (;)), they give every indication that they'll build up to spectacular models.  B)

Looking forward to when you have time to relax and sit down and build.

Maybe by Christmas...

Everything just seems to take longer, and lately it's been mostly my fault.   :D

Found out about Texas 3D Customs on this forum, highly recommended.  Charles offers special orders, so I asked for a Mercedes 180, showed him a source of a file I had bookmarked, he responded that it would not work because it was for video games, but he took the time to find another source of the same thing, so it worked out.  Got the seats and engine from his website.  I haven't been been at the bench for a couple of months now, but still buying models. ?
